Plasmic Stallion. They're a local Portland band, all girl, all under 16. Very raw, very rock'n'roll. I don't think they define themselves as riot grrrl, but they say they're influenced by it.

I've looked up mp3s on the 'net, though, and they're obviously not famous enough to have any up for download that I can find. Who knows? Maybe I just don't have mp3-searchin' skills.

Besides that...

I definitely agree with Go Betty Go, and whether or not they're "riot grrrl" doesn't really matter to me anyway. They're girl rock, they're good.

Sleater kinney
The devotchkas
Hole
The distillers
Bikini kill
Le tigre
Yeah yeah yeahs
Blondie
Go betty go
Xray Spex
Tsunami Bomb
The Epoxies
Plasmatics
Juliette Lewis & the Licks

That's my list for now. There's more but I'm just never sure who'll fit with the whole Riot Grrl movement. I'm sure several that I have down don't fit in, but are great bands anyways.

has anyone ever listened to the lunachicks?? they've got some riot grrrl-ish songs but i'd say for the most part they aren't so radical that they'd be considered a big part of the movement. however, they are flippin sweet. go listen to the lunachicks.
