So...singing's a hobby of mine. However, I really suck at it.
Though mostly I sing for fun. ^^

http://youtube.com/user/RaineDrops Listen if you want, but you have been warned that I'm bad.

Speaking purely objectively, no offense meant:

You have a really nice voice, but you could use voice lessons.
You need to learn how to breathe, and that would be a pretty awesome duet with the origional voice.
Kudos.

XD I used to be in choir but we didn't end up getting that much better. I remember doing breathing exercises and other warm ups but they don't help me much when I sing high pitched 'cause I'm an alto.

Eh, even if I don't get better, I could always annoy anyone when I feel like it. ^^

LoL!
I was in choir too!
Had an insanely awesome teacher.

I can go soprano or alto... Well, I could, but I picked smoking back up since then... I had quit because I joined choir, so when my life went out of whack again, I was like "Screw it, no reason not to, right?"
Every once in awhile, when I can't match Amy Lee note-for-note, I kinda sorta regret it though...

I would join choir again in my senior year but I don't really plan on going to any of the concerts if I do, I'd have no way to get there (can't drive) and I'd rather not pay for an ugly dressed that I'd have to get dry cleaned and return it without a refund.

And another reason why I dropped out was 'cause I didn't really like the class.

"Miss, do we HAVE to sing today?"

It's ******** (excuse the language) choir, what do you think? >_>

I don't know why we couldn't have gotten our own dresses...I still have an old pic of it:

x

We wore them at only at concerts and rehearsal the day before that. We also have t-shirts that we got to kept, I have one from middle school (which isn't that great 'cause our mascot on it was yosemite sam XD) and one from high school (it was ok, looks more like a baseball shirt though)

Omigod! That is such a cute picture!!! 3nodding

But the dress doesn't fit you. It also looks like the fabric that was used for it was not right for the pattern, which probably means that it's handmade, which might be why you don't get to keep it, but that they don't refund at least half of your payment is a matter that can be taken up with some board member or something.
I don't know, I don't think that you should give up choir... Couldn't you just find a dress that matched, but fit you... Then you could have all sorts of fun re-designing it when the year was over!
xd
I'm in fashion design... It's what I do, sorry!

Well, I've been taking art last year and this year. Not sure if I'll take either one of them next year, I think I still need one more computer class credit. But I liked floral design way more than both of them so I'll probably do that again too.

Well, it's mostly a blow off course but still fun.

We just get flowers and arrange them. I had pics in my non digital camera but my parents haven't gotten them developed yet. I've also made stuff floral related but not real.

Like this: http://rainedrops18.deviantart.com/art/Topiary-73281385

and this: http://rainedrops18.deviantart.com/art/L-the-turkey-70115681

It was for Thanksgiving, we stuck it in a floral bowl with foam and mums or something.

Oooh, nice!
But I don't really get how that can be an actual credit....
Just doesn't seem like something that could get you into college or a tech school...

Still, very pretty, though, and if it's fun, better for you!

Well, it's just an elective we take for fun. It's part of the agricultural department in school, the first week was mostly spent on talking about FFA (Future Farmers of America, doesn't stand for anything anymore in TX according to them and there are a few states with this program but not every one.) and getting people the join, the rest went by pretty quickly. The film in my parents' camera was developed recently with the pics of my flowers like this one:

It's just a one semester class.

I don't think it'd help get into college either, my teacher did say something about taking a state floral exam and that would look good on a resume. And gym is actually a required class and I'm pretty sure that wouldn't really help either.

Nice flowers!
The difference between gym and flowers is that one keeps you healthy and the other just makes you happy :XP

I was flirting with the idea of FFA; It's a huge thing in WA, 'specially where I lived (farm country). But I was always a bit put off by those kids who'd had their land in the family for generations, and their prejudices.
Sadly, never got the chance to make the choice. Oh well.

I write songs for fun and because there is no satisfying the need to create. ^_^
