In Pilot Chloe says "Everybody has secrets clark, its not like yu tell me everything that goes on in your life" nice start out that no one knows Clark has powers, talk about master of disguise

Season 3 Episode 5 titled Perry. When the sherif is questioning Jon' and Clark as to how the tractor ended up scattered across the county, Perry says to the sherif, "I suspect he is hideing something cheif" and the sherif turns and replys, " There's another bus within the hour, I suggest you catch it. And don't call me cheif." Which is in refferance to the 1952 to 58 Adventures of Superman series where Jimmy would nearly always call Perry Cheif and Perrys response was nealy always... "Don't call me cheif"

This isn't something said, but in season one, when Clark is in the graveyard and meets Lana's parents, for about two seconds he stands in front of an angel statue, which just signified the importance of his heroism. I know it's odd; it's an unstated metaphor.
