Spartan1989 Corpse_Bride_131 Lazarus.... I love you. It's not even funny how much I love you. From what I've heard, Christians believe that God created people and the Earth and all that good stuff. Some people happen to be gay, bisexual, or lesbians. It's not like those people decided to go off and like people with the same junk as them. It just happens to be the way they were mad - by GOD. And God made them exactly the way he wants them to be and he loves them just as much as everyone else. Being anti-gay and Christian is soooooo contradicting yourself. One minute you're saying to love everyone, the next you're putting homosexuals down. Badly. It's not cool. If you want to call yourself a Christian, you're going to need to practice what you preach. The Bible wasn't meant to be taken literally. Give scripture to support your claim or your argument doesnt cary any weight. You obviously didn't get anything out of what I just said. I said that the Bible wasn't meant to be taken literally. That includes giving verses as support to an argument. I'm pretty sure the Bible doesn't say "READ WITH CAUTION: NOT MEANT TO BE TAKEN LITERALLY!" How about some common sense and open mindedness instead of shoving scripture down everyones throats?

The following statement is not meant to be taken in any way offensive at all. I promise.
I personally believe that scripture and the Bible ARE relevant and that some parts are not meant to be taken literally but not the whole thing. But thats just me. The clearest things can be the hardest to understand and believe because we make it that way. We try to justify our actions as humans and make ourselves think they're right in God's eyes. This doesn't just apply to the sin of homosexuality it applies to all other sins as well. God doesn't hate people who love the same gender and they don't go to hell for it. My understanding is that the only unforgivable sin is not being forgiven (that is not asking for it and aknowledging Jesus as your Savior and Lord.) It does in the Bible say that living a homosexual lifestyle is wrong and I believe it is. But the only way that would affect my views as someone as a person is that I would loose some respect for that person because they are living a way that God doesn't want us to and that I personally see as disgusting.(again don't take this offensively please. its not directed at anyone in particular)But I also believe that we do choose whom we love. We choose how we act towards them, we choose how we treat them, whether we like certain things about them. I'm in a relationship. and if I truly wanted to I could end it because I could act so mean toward him or just decide not to pursue it any further without being mean. But we know how to make people not like us. God wouldn't cause us to love someone in a way that isn't pleasing to Him. We have a free will and we have two choices. What God wants, and the desires of the flesh.

I've never given Bible references to support a claim before! whee Feels good, doesn't it? You have no idea! You know that feeling you get when you've been wanting to do something for ages and ages and ages, and you try really hard and never get it, and then suddenly - BOOM! It happens! You know that? That's what it's like. It's like my birthday's come a month and a half early.
