I was just curious if people read the book and watched the movie and which did they like better? Personally I adore the movie because Anthony Hopkins is a very gifted actor in almost every role I have ever seen him play. The book was very good as well written by Thomas Harris, if you have not read it I highly recommend it.

I haven't seen all of the movie, but I plan to someday. I do know a fun fact about it: Jody Foster was really crying in the parking lot scene near the beginning, and part of that was drawn from how irritated she was from hearing Anthony Hopkins doing that imitation of her Southern accent.

I haven't seen the movie or read the books. I don't really plan too, not my preference.

Watched part of the movie didn't really care for it cause it scared the pants off me. And I have no plans to watch the movie ever again and the book not at all..
