I'm not sure I really understood the thrust of your argument, there, but I will say that just because society is an abstraction doesn't mean it has no bearing on human actions. The mind, after all, is an abstraction too.
All pressure is coercive. What other kind of pressure could there be? It seems to me that if I own a loaf of bread, and you are hungry, that gives me a hold over you. It allows me to coerce you into doing my bidding.
You might be lucky enough to get a choice between a few different people with bread, some of whom might be less demanding than others, but you have to meet the demands of at least one of the bread-bearers to get a meal.
