Ok, I'm trying to download DBM and Omen so I can do kara, since my guild won't let me otherwise... I've downloaded both of them from curse.com already... And then this is what I did.. I went to: My Computer - HP_PAVILION (C: ) - World of Warcraft - Interface - AddOns. Once I was there, There were two folders titled "DBM-3.02b-core-bc-mods" and Omen-r57882.18" both of them had zippers, I right clicked them and clicked "Extract" and then they 2 more folders showed up titled the same thing, both without zippers. Then I right clicked the zipper ones again and went to "Properties" and clicked "Unblock" for both of them. Then I logged onto WoW and they aren't there, anything I missed?
( no space between : and ) where i typed HP_PAVILION (C: ) )

What I do - download from site, when download completes open the download with WinRAR (or WinZIP). Select the folder that says 'Omen' or whatever from there - not the download folder. Then, right-click & select 'Extract to...". Then, navigate to your harddrive where WoW is installed, find the WoW folder, then the Interface>Addons folder. After you extract it there, check & make sure you don't have another Interface folder in the addons folder.

Rather than doing extract bullshit, you could just drag the folder out of the Zip archive into your addons folder.

The Mule Of Max Rather than doing extract bullshit, you could just drag the folder out of the Zip archive into your addons folder. eek and we have a winnah!! most of the mod I download usually don't have "version" number behind them. Usually omen or something like that (I have omen and bigwig, but I change out with deadly boss mod.) Omen is a nice addon smile
