Hey guys and girls, Im looking to buy an acoustic guitar soon. I started out on acoustic but ive been playing electric for so long...

martin (duh) is one of the best quality acoustics out there.

ovation makes a nice clasical nylon strung guitar (yngwie has an ovation)

u will be amazed at just how heavy acoustic strings are compared to electric strings if uve been useing Super Slinks like i have for a LONG time. (ur fingers will start to bleed if played to much)

i would know it happened to me after i got back from denmark.

Yeah my fingers have been bleeding for the past couple of days.
Ive been playing my dads alverez for awhile now, so I can get back in the acoustic feel...Its a nice guitar. But my dads guitar kinda dwarfs me. Lol

an update on the shape of my geer. "anything in "" is a further update"

i took apart the ibanez and the strat and messed with them a little.

took the mid pickup from the strat and wired it into the ibanez. had a wierd electrical feedback so i undid it but the hole i cut is still there.

"MY STRAT HAS DIED! the electronics in it went ka-put when i had it taken apart to put a new pickgaurd on it. now i have to re-wire the entire thing, (somthing i'm not looking foreward to.)"

fixed my bass, needed an amp courd outlet.

the acoustic is one my uncle let me borrow on my trip to Denmark, its a POS.

i "went" PETE TOWNSHAND on it. so it is no more

the amp is the Peavey that came with the bass, it loves to run with my new Ibanez when i get down into the lower notes.

the Line6 i use for all of the trebble sections, and when i engadge the wah to get thet tubey sound the harmonics start poping up un-expectedly.

1989 Ibanez RG 570, made in Japan (not the crappy Korean models)

Licensed Floyd Rose, Wizard Neck, i'm not sure about the pickups because Ibanez dosn't make a 570 anymore, so i can't tell to be sure but they sound SWEET.

All of that and a hardshell case to keep it in.... for 240$

The Japanese made RG's sell for 350+ (guitars only no case)

when i run it though my effects and Pevey Basic 60 the bass from the lower chords started a breeze in my room. (not kidding)

when you switch it to the single coil mode it gets a twang my strat couldn't even pull off. (mostely because my strat was CRAP)

it was filthy when i got it but and hour's worth of polishing has brought it back to life.

I have dubed it Midnight because when its in dim light it looks more black then blue.

I've just finished giving my Squire a new paint job and am letting it dry now, the pics r lowsy but u"ll get the general idea

i think i tallyed a grand total of 21$ for 4 cans of paint and 3 sheets of 800 grit sandpaper

the paint was 3 cans of Valspar, one "Lawn Green" one Gloss black and one gloss clear, and one coat of Krylon Fusion "Nickel Shimmer" paint for plastic, one trip to Lowes, walmart and Auto zone for the sandpaper and bam, new paint job.

I was going for a green sunburst kinda look and im not sure how its turned out entirely because when the clear coat drys and sets im going to wax the crap out of it then c how it looks.

the headstock is also green-bursted it just dosn't show in the picture

dam, thats nice, but im about to get a Cherry Red Gibson Les Paul Studio from one of neighbors. Hes in a band called "The Woodwork" and hes selling his paul to me for $400, I just have to wait for it to get back from the shop because its getting fixed. Ill put up a pic when it gets back

i darkened out the pickgaurd on the strat because the standard krylon grey was just to light to match the green of the guitar
