Alright. Here it goes? ._.
Long detailed version: So, my friend Scott (namechanged) and myself have known each other for about a year now, and are really good friends. We don't see each other that much, since we both have jobs, and go to different schools, so only on some occasions we see each other. Lately, he has been acting especially nice to me, and I mean really nice. During military ball (both of us are the JROTC program) we both didn't have a date. His girlfriend was busy, and my date kinda bailed. A majority of the time, we talked, and danced together. Our talks were about our past relationships, and recent relationships as well. Then to dancing. There was a slow dance, then he goes "This was the first song my girl and I danced to. *moment of silence* I am really tempted to dance with you."
Weird.
Now let's fast forward to today. Military ball was a week ago, and we both had drill competition two days ago. We hung out again, and sat together on the bus. When we were sitting with each other, we were listening to his iPod, and the very first song he puts on is If I Had My Way by Bobby Valentino. The jist of the song is "I'll dump my girlfriend, you dump your boyfriend, let's get together."
Is he sending me signals? I mean, we are really good friends, but he has a girlfriend and this is where I doubt things. I mean, I have liked him for a while, so maybe it's my wishful thinking?
Short less detailed version: I believe one of my guy friends is sending me signals, yet he has a girlfriend. I have liked him for a while, and it might just be my emotions getting in the way.
So, what do you think is going on? Any advice you can give?
Thanks you guys. <33333

He probley means little by it. Girls tend to overanalise everything, but if you ask little probing questions that he prbley won't find much meaning in but will let you know if he likes you or not for your own mind, that normaly works. if that made sence. I know it dident. just thing like "Lawl, how do you intreprite this song? I think its intresting" would be something you could ask in that siduation and if he was trying to alude to something it would be aluded too in his explanation too. because, atleast the boys ive known though highschoolhappyness, tend to be bloont and have truble hiding things... Then again i overanalize everything so i have to always make shure im not overanalizing men by asking probing questions, or 'axadentley' talking about topicks that can be construed and twisted so they can continue to reveal there SOAL twisted xD; Ive lost it, sorry. But an examble, A boy from school likes me. And I had the faint idea that he did from interpriting the special atenchion hints and such. So we were talking online and i start talking about bases and things ive done with my boyfriend and complaning about the no happy till im 18 thing, witch im axuley happy about but it surved a purpiouse. Prity much I knew that if he ansered things one way and the topic was deverted he had no intrest at all. But no, it went the total other way and by the end of the convo he had felt it was ok to ask sin for the hook up. Witch he got kindley shot down for, but the convo served its purpose, i know he wants in my pants now and know how to deal with him xD;
BUT IM RAMBBLING xD Sorry if it was no help xD I just have so many boy ishues xD

Ask tiny questions that he will think don't mean much, but really do, and it will give me answers that really matter to me. amirite?
Thankies Sin. :B <33

Guccigirl247 [Q] Why not just ask him outright? Afraid of losing the friendship if he really doesn't like me. ._. Why would that happen? I mean, if you just asked him "Hey, this is kind of a weird question, but I just want to know, are you trying to get with me? It kinda seems like it but I don't know for sure. And if you don't that's fine, I'm just confused." Or something. Doesn't seem like it would impact your friendship. Only thing (in my preference) that MIGHT ruin friendships is if someone outwardly asks you to be their bf/gf and you say no.

The best thing you can do, is wait for him to tell you he likes you. If he does like you, trust me, he WILL tell you. OR he'll try to cup your boob... either way, you'll know.

I guess I just operate differently, then. Oh well.
But this situation has happened to me before, and I never had a problem (with ruining the friendship).

♥Lεss Thαn Thrεε♥ OhεmgεεEveryone's different, so everyone react to things differently. Toastie often takes sin's approach, ninja-ing around and asking questions. Girls often take things the wrong way when they feel a certain way about a guy, so confirming it by how he reacts to your questions can save you from that awkward "I LOVE YOU TOO!" "....er...i don't like you that way... sweatdrop " situation. Lσve cσmputεr ƒαntαsy Mεεt mε hεrε σn IRC lσlσl~♫

I wouldn't take the whole ipod/song thing into heavy analyzing.
when i listen to my ipod with my guy friends i put on a song i like, even if its a cheesy love song it doesnt mean I mean it.
I say just start talking to him more and see how that pans out. :/ Plus he has a girlfriend so yeahhh. haha

I agree with lexii.
Give it some more time, you may be reading too deep. 3nodding
And if he really does mean it, he'll eventually outright say it.
Plus waiting will save you from asking "Do you liek me?" and winding up with a "Oh you're reading that way wrong" and having total embarassment. XD
heart @ you.
