Carmelfur nudged Raindance as she got up. "Come on fluffball! There are rabbits to be caught." She stood up and walked out of the den.
Raindance heaved to her paws with a sigh and walked outside with Carmelfur.

Froststar padded out of her den and padded over to the apprentices' den "hay Shadowpaw let's go and teach u some fighting moves" Froststar purred

Shadowpaw woke up "sure" Shadowpaw purred heading for the camp entrance.

Sadshadow sat by the Fresh-kill pile looking around camp. 'another boring day.' she thought sullenly.

Froststar and Shadowpaw headed for the camp entrance and headed for the training grounds. "ok we should start with some defensive moves" Froststar said looking at Shadowpaw

"well let's try i'll attack u and u try to knock me off u and u do a counter attack" Froststar meowed jumping at Shadowpaw.

Nightpaw calmly walked over to his mentor.
Inkeye looked over to his apprentice. "Took you long enough to get up." he sneared
Nightpaw's fur bristled. "We trained from Sunrise to Moonhigh yesterday!" he hissed
Inkeye rolled his eyes. "Come on." he rolled his eyes. "We are battle training again today."

Shadowpaw dodged Froststar's attack and jumped onto her
Froststar Fell on the ground with a thud and felt Shadowpaw on her back. "That was good" Froststar purred.
Shadowpaw came off of Froststar back and purred with excitement.
Froststar stood up. "ok now u try to attack me." Froststar meowed
Shadowpaw jumped at Froststar and landed on her back
Froststar pushed Shadowpaw off. "That was good" Froststar meowed "Now lets get back to camp" Froststar meowed heading for camp.
Shadowpaw follow Froststar back to camp. and she caught a rabbit on the way back.

Inkeye led his apprentice to the training hollow. "I'll show you today." Nightpaw snarled.
Inkeye turned on him and pinned him to the ground. "I'd like to see that!" he spat into his ear. He backed away with a grunt and continued on the way.
Nightpaw jumped after his mentor and soon they arrived.
"Ok, hit me with you best shot, I've already taught you all the fighting moves, know you just need to get good and smart." he grunted.
Nightpaw hissed and launched himself at Inkeye.
Inkeye dodged and bouldered into Nightpaw's side. "Try again!"
Nightpaw twisted around, bearly feeling his blow, he bit into his mentor's shoulder.
Inkeye turned and slashed his claws across Nightpaw's foot, tripping him. He jumpd and pinned him.
Nightpaw raked his claws against Inkeye's stomach causing him to leap back. Nightpaw grunted with satisfaction and bouldered right back into his mentor. They didn't show it, but they did care about one another, if anythin happened to Inkeye... that would seem like the end.
Inkeye squrambled away, and lunged again, claws outstretched.

Raindance sat outside the warriors den licking her paw. She let her thoughts trace back to when she was an apprentice. Carmelfur was Carmelpaw, a nasty little apprentice that she hated, but now was best friends with. Inkeye had been a young warrior then and she had felt like she had not a care in the world. She sighed and padded over to Carmelfur and layed down next to her, enjoying the sunlight. She remembered now...
'Rainpaw padded through the trees to the training hollow, her first assesment went well and she was going back to camp. She could hear silent howls of pain and padded next to the hollow, peering in. She shivered, Carmelpaw was sitting on the ground, howling in pain whilst her mentor told her to ignore the fact that she had spent all day climbing trees and that her claws broke. "Stand up, fox-dung," he yowled. Carmelpaw did so and nearly fell back down. Rainpaw bust into the clearing and knocked her mentorout of the way. She hated Carmelpaw before but she suddenly felt sorry for her. "Come on, back to camp with you." On the way back her mentor had gotten killed by a fox, the pain still bit at Carmelfur.'

Nightpaw felt claws sink in to his side and rake across it. He yowled in pain and twisted around to hit across inkeye's face, but Inkeye was faster and had moons and moons of experience under his whiskers. Sometimes it felt like Nightpaw would never hit Inkeye.
Inkeye leaned back easily dodging the attack. "faster." He snarled and stood ready for an attempt attack from Nightpaw.
Nightpaw lunged. Any other time he might be able to land a hit! but Inkeye was to hard to battle! It didn't help he was training ALL day yesterday too! He headed down trying to get under Inkeye's paws.
Inkeye jumped and landed heavily on Nightpaw's back, sinking in his claws.
Nightpaw wringled under his weight and heard Inkeye his into his ear. "Nightpaw, you've come a long way from our first day, but your still weak." It wasn't true though. Nightpaw was a very accomplished apprentice but couldn't match up to Inkeye.
