Shadepaw crept on it and killed it within a heartbeat and proudly brought his catch back over to Faithpaw.

Faithpaw purred. "Thank you for catching a frog, now all we have do do is catch some other thing for the queens to eat and when we go back we can share it," she practically jumped, her mouth watering. She licked his shoulder. "You rock!"

Shadepaw purred. "Lets get a move on than." He meowed playfully and darted off. "hurry up or I'll catch more." he called over his shoulder.

Faithpaw growled playfully and darted after him, paws hardly skimming the ground. She scented the air... lizard! She looked around, making dirt spin up around her as she stopped. She poked her head around on of the pine trees and scared it, making it start to run. She slashed out claws and grabbed it. "Ha! 1 to 1, Shadepaw!"

"that'll soon change." He meowed sniffed, hearing and looking around all at the same time. He spotted a mouse struggling in the mud. It must be a very mushy spot. He didn't even need to work getting it. He simply darted forward and grabbed it in his jaws, pulling it out of the mud. It squeaked with alarm before it died. He tugged his paws. He was stuck! the sound of sucking mud formed as he pulled at his paws, sooner or later his paws flew free and he jumped back.

"Ha, clumsy-paws!"" Faithpaw scented the air and looked around. "I think we have enough, lets get back! I'm starving!"

Shadepaw nodded and picked up his prey. He darted for camp, picking up his previous prey along the way. He glanced over his shoulder.
