We played "Moscow, 1941" my Junior and Senior year of High School. That piece is indescribably awesome. Along with "Flight of Eagles." The French Horn part for that one is sooooo fun. It's practically all Forte.

we played Aspen Jubilee, children's march, and a song for rosa. We had choral arrangements for Aspen and children's march, and aspen was one of the greatest pieces of all time from what i've heard. we might play blue shades this year so now im really excited!

I love playing Claude Bolling's "Irlandiase".
Jules Massenet's "Meditation From Thais" is amazing to.
Right now, I'm looking for a flute version of the song "Fallen Leaves" from the Star Ocean: Till the End of Time OST.
I really like it lol

My band's absolute favorite piece is Soulfinger. We get so intense and just start rocking out. The Sousies have this whole dance number and it's great.
Our second favorite is probably the drum cadence.

For our pops music concert last year we played Music from Braveheart. Absolutely beautiful I say. And our show last year was Les Miserables (Freshman year was great). This year we are playing a the Theme from Far and Away, and possibly, we may be playing Pageant by Vincent Persichetti during concert season. All of them are such great pieces.

For concert band we played English Folk Song Suite. It's three movements of pure awesomeness. But then again Tribal Quest was an ah-mazing piece. -sigh- I'll miss those two.
Our new field show music is pretty cool though, all Tower of Power. We have What is Hip?, So Very Hard to Go, and Soul Vaccination. (The first two are awesome, we haven't learned the third yet.)
