I have watched some very fun, informative, educational documentaries over the internet, and I figured the rest of you would love to see them. This is higher quality, more enriching movies than you can find at your typical Gaia cinema fare.
We can watch these movies, and talk about them, and post new movie links up from the internet, especially if they are educational/informational documentary types of films. Let's try to find whole movies, or movies that have been cropped to clips instead of previews/trailers of movies.
Killng us Softly 3: Advertising's Images of WomenTough Guise: Violence, Media, & the Crisis in MasculinityI think these two films are excellent. I think they are friendly to the pro-choice culture, even if it is not directly an abortion/anti-abortion issue. Both of them do an excellent job pointing out how prevalent and destructive the media as a whole has on gender and gender relations.
Post thoughts, post movies!
