A massive war has broken out on Olympus. Three Goddesses, Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite are at it again. They haven't fought this much since Paris had to chose who was fairest. One day, a cloaked man entered Hera's chambers and informed her that Athena and Aphrodite were working together to over throw the Queen of Olympus. He told similar lies to the other two goddesses. Now, Olympus has been split three ways. On Hera's side, there is Zues, Hermes, and Demeter. On Athena's side, there is Dionysus, Artemis, Apollo and Hestia. Finally, on Aphrodite's side, there is Hephaestus, Ares, and Poseidon. Hades has not joined the fighting. Ichor, the golden blood of the gods, has yet to be spilled, over this argument. The other gods and goddesses are trying in vain to calm the three goddesses but it is not working. Soon, blood will be spilled.
At Camp-Half Blood, things are shaping up the same way. Cabins are making alliances and harsh fist fights have been breaking out everywhere. Only a small group of Campers can see reason. They have consulted the Oracle and she told them this prophecy:
Destruction and Chaos shall spread for miles,
Wreaking this havoc, the dark one smiles.
Old disputes, again arise,
To bring forth the world's demise.
Young ones, rise to help the gods,
You must succeed against all odds.
Travel to the ancient home,
Older even than great Rome.
Seek the item, Red as Mars,
The answer lies among the stars.
What could the prophecy mean? We join our half-bloods now as they discuss the matter with The Wise Centaur, Chiron.
