I guess there never really was a perfect Jacob for the production team. They're going nationwide now.
The news is on Stephenie's website, if you want details.
I hope they choose someone that's a good actor. It kind of reminds me of how Tracey Turnblad got casted for the movie Hairspray.
What do you guys think of it?
Are you going to audition?

I would have tried out if i was a guy. lol
and I wish they did an open call for edward cause they probably would have at least gottan a cuter edward
but its okay.

lol it seems we can never have a jake thread without edward being brought up. *shrug*
anyway! i think it's a good idea for the cast calling, we might actually get someone with looks and talent.... not to mention that that means there is some lucky unknown out there thats gonna get thier big shot. ^.^

I read around that there were some pictures, which were soon enough taken down for illegal signing up onto the website of obsessed teenagers, does anyone know where they can be viewed on a different site?
I'd be happy to take a peek at some awesome potential Jacobs.

i think this is like great, cause now it could be someone like super-jacob like, and open auditions are great, people come out, just too think hey why not? and end up getting the role, im happy with this =D LOL, like imagine, anyone can come and audition, like anyone, as long as their a boy, i guess, and imagine all the possiable jacobs to choose! goodness now i wish i was the one choosing the cast =( meeting all those jacobs whee
