he paused when they got to the staircase, shifting and moving to walk up the stairs, his footsteps entirely silent on the carpet the seemed to line the middle of the hallways and stairs.

The small snake was to tence and nervouse to notice the boy wondering off. It just kept slithering off, to get the boy's bath ready for him.

the boy continued to head up the stairs, turning left, twords the west, when he got to the top, having completely forgoten about the master's warning not to go into the west wing. he continued to wander, looking around and seeming slightly disturbed when everything got a bit darker, wanting to get out, but for some reason drawn to one particular door, slowly pushing it open and slipping inside.

Vodick's yellow eyes looked up at the door when he head the sound of someone entering his room. Though, instead of charging at the boy, he staid hidden in the shadows to watch the small human. He rested his head on top of his massive paws and closed his eyes halfway so the boy would not see them.

he slid through the door, biting his lip as he moved through the room t, loking everything ver in wonder and slight fer, reaching out to touch old torn up paintings and furniture"cold certainly use come cleaning..." he whispered to himself, tucking his beautiful hair behind one ear and hugging himself a bit, a little chilly. he paused when he saw a faint glow, turning his bright blue eyes twords it, and his footsteps moved in the same direction, slowly and carefuly, reaching out to that soft light.
