Noks would have, until very recently, found herself very much content being hidden away on Rory's laptop or palm pilot or whatever device he was carrying around with him. Of course, being an egg of any sort, you really don't get much say in where you go or what you do, now do you? Certainly, though, her egg had been a bit peculiar. Nothing to say of the man who was her Human, Rory. He was as normal as they came, utterly human. Bit shy, though.
That's not why we're here, now are we? Where is here? Well, the Cyberzone! Noks had taken to exploration of the Cyberzone, since Rory couldn't give her attention ninety-nine percent of the day, and he did have to work. Not that she minded him working, oh no. Rory seemed to like his job, and while it was boring, if it kept Rory satisfied... Who was she to argue? But this was what inevitable brought Noks into exploration of the Cyberzone, and finding 'The Spot'.
Like in the Cyberzone, ocassionally landmasses would plop up, filled to the brim with data. Of course, it would disperse after Hackers ate away at it, but until then, it was there. And, as Noks so elegantly put it... < Woah. > That was her only description. Noks floated to this mass of data, and looked around her. It was nothing like she'd ever seen before. Mind, she hadn't seen much, but this was insane. Everything seemed to be Topsy Turvy, where up was down and backwards was forwards. It was confusing. It was bright, and colorful. It was...
< It's perfect! > Throwing her arms up, the child-Hacker floated along the land mass, exploring it (and guiltily taking a bite or two of some too-good-to-resist data) in it's entirety. It was almost sad that it'd be gone before long, but until then, this Topsy Turvy crazy carnival was all hers. And whoever else came along could join in too. After all, that was what 'fun' was about, right?
((OOC: Just for the purposes of making things clearer, Topsy Turvy is a direct quote to the crazy carnival in Hunchback of Notre Dame. So imagine some old-time carnival, where up is down, black is white, and backwards is forwards. ^_^))

<I'm hungry.>
Aaldur was bored utterly out of his mind. He was a little envious of Yue's siblings because his human was spending time with them, and not him. But, the newborne Hacker was still above jealousy - he had to himself a world unknown by those fools. The only reason he bothered Yue was to remind the boy that he was still around, and as he chomped away on the picture files that Yue saved, he began to drift.
He was, in truth, a bit of a timid Hacker and haven't done all that much of exploring on his own. He was aware of the Cyberzone that existed outside of Yue's laptop and cellphone, but that did not mean the little Hacker was ready to venture into it. It took him a while to adjust to the seemingly random appearance of bits of data all over the place - sometimes right in his face, even! He ate those, of course, since those morsels presented themsevles to him... might as well.
Aaldur, like any Hacker, was attracted by the mass of data which Noks had just discovered. It was ike... a homing device, because while Aaldure had absolutely no idea where he was going, he knew that he was going somewhere... and he will find out what his destination was once he arrived. He was content to drift so, because as of that moment, he really did have nothing better to do.
<OMG. o_O>
How was he to describe the vision which has presented itself to his eyes? It was a paradox, certainly. Everything was... upside down and backwards... For a few seconds it seemed to be a problem of orientation, but then he realized that no matter he he realigned himself, the world continued to twist. <Wicked!> He was thrilled, of course, to find such a place. It might take him hours to explore this place! Out of the black and white, howere, there was a patch of blue. He realized that it was another child Hacker... just like him. He grinned with mischief and began floating towards Noks, carefully concealing himself behind these... buildings as he crawled closer and closer. It was a carnival, he realized, with lots and lots of tents and craziness.
With a leap he flew towards Noks, and only with a bubble above his head that stated his glee. <Wheee! 8D>

In the Cyberzone, things like sound were sort of... limited. Especially since the hackers didn't talk, they spoke through chat. So when another hacker child, one she didn't know or recognize (which wasn't odd at all, considering she didn't know any other hackers besides herself, having recently hatched) came at her, she didn't realize it until it was far too late, and the hacker leapt right into her.
< ACK! > Noks flew forward, and 'fell' onto the simulated ground that was little more than a dirt track. She rounded to face her attacker, a snarl on her face, ready to scare the big monster away... When she saw another hacker. She blinked, and tilted her head at him, then grinned slowly.
< Oh! You're a hacker. Hi! > To greet him properly, Noks even went as far as to wave her hands, yes, both of them, at him in greeting. < Welcome to Topsy Turvy! > She had no idea that it was called that, but that's what the place was, a carnival of Topsy Turvy-ness, and so it was appropriate to call it such.
< Who're you? > There was nothing modest or polite about this one, oh no. Blunt questioning was the way to go, and so, she crossed her arms and waited for his answer. Because when you asked a question, you got an answer. Duh.

Indeed, the cyberspace was rather silent - not that the silence bothered Aaldur as he sailed with his literal mimic of laughter towards Noks. After all, you didn't miss what you never had in the first place! Nevertheless, his frame shook with laughter as Noks 'fell', being the terrible joker that he was. At her snarl, however, he settled down and floated more gently towards her. <Indeed, I am a Hacker.> He said with a wide grin, and in return waved both of his tiny little arms are her.
<Topsy Turvy?> The term was unfamiliar to him, as all data he have digested up until this point were from Yue's laptop, and he was a science major. <Did you name it?>
<Who am I?> Aaldur echoed Noks' question and acted to be quite pensive [or at least, as pensive as a child Hacker was able to act] while he drifted about, letting the stream of data twist him up and down and left and right. <That is a very good question - what if I don't want to tell you? Isn’t that the biggest existentialism question of the human race of all times, or something?> He darted to her side suddenly, and flitted about her with a stream of words flashing in his speech bubble. <If you want my name… that is a different matter altogether. Why don’t you tell me who you are first, and then I will see if you… are worthy of the knowledge of my name. C:> Ah, it was a pity that it was so obvious Aaldur didn’t get out much, in Hacker terms. It was also a pity that Yue never bothered to instruct him on etiquettes – had Yue done such a thing, maybe Aaldur wouldn’t be so outrageously… him, then. Strange mind, Aaldur had, and as he waited for a reply from Noks, he bounced higher for a better view, and caught some glimpse of a distant tent that was larger, much larger, than any of the ones standing around them seconds before the world flipped and he was floating towards the ground again.
<Bizarre place, isn’t it? Shall we explore? >D>

When Aaldur confirmed he was a hacker, and waved both arms back, Noks's hands flew to her face and she cackled, amused that he waved back at her. It didn't take much to amuse Noks, to be honestly. She tilted her head to one side and grinned wide. < Yes, I named it. > She confirmed, nodding sagely and with the utmost seriousness of face.
< I found it first, and so, I named it. Yepyepyep. > Noks grinned, and floated around him in a circle, with a curious frown at his monologue. When he offered a different route to learning his name, one of decision on his part about whether or not she was good enough to know... Well. She scoffed at him.
< What if I have no name, hm? > She asked, an expression of haughtily attitude on her face. She crossed both arms over her chest cavity, and eyed him scrutinizingly. Of course, the haughty expression and scoffing was immediately lost when she saw him bouncing, and she blinked owlishly, then spun around (rather comically and exaggeratedly) to see what he was seeing.
She started to bounce, and then grinned when she saw the big tent. < My name's Noks. And let's! > And with that, Noks was off, fleeing towards the big tent to see what it was. She had a good notion that whatever it was, it'd have something spectacular. Yepyepyep.

<What if someone else had discovered this first, and you didn't know that they were here already?> Aaldure posed a question, unabashed - seriously, he had no tact either. It was not something he had picked up, since Yue usually just gave whatever he demanded for... so why would the Hacker bother with manners? <That is so... 1500's colonizer!!!> Aaldur was referring to Columbus and the conquistadors and... well, the number of explorers that Yue had mentioned in a previous and massive history report. Oh, it made a scumptious dinner when he munched away at it.
<You, no name? -___- No wai.> Aaldur scoffed back at Noks. <For that, my lady, would be quite impossible - we all have names.> He stuck out his tongue at her, and only shook with laughter when she finally told him her name - it was her spins that tickled him so. <Mine would be Aaldur, if it pleases you to know. C:>
He chased Noks, as she had darted off rather unexpectantly. Could it be a big, scary monster? No, there were no monsters in cyberspace, not to a creature that could simply eat anything away. <Maybe it's yummy.> Aaldur suggested as he pulled level with Noks. <Or bouncy. What do you think is in that tent?>
It was a surprise, really, that no other Hackers were there - but Aaldur didn't mind, after all, it was more fun for the two of them. Who said 'the more the merrier' was true? Two were enough for a party!

< Then they should be here. > Noks said logically, glancing back at him and blinking owlishly. < ... What? > 1500s colonizers? Noks shook her head at him, and turned, snorting laughter. But like Noks, she didn't dwell very long on the conversation.
< Yarly. > She nodded solemnly, and grinned wide when Aaldur stuck his tongue out at her, rolling her eyes at him. < How childish! > She stuck her tongue out in return, snickering. When he divulged his name, she blinked owlishly. < Aaldur? ... That's a funny name. > This coming from a girl who was named after a Greek personification of Night. Obviously her head wasn't screwed on straight or something.
< A whole court of Kings and Queens and Jokers and decks of cards and-- > She cut herself off, and frowned. < No, that's not right... > The conversation hadn't been directed at Aaldur, per se, but moreso at herself. Noks had a habit of going off in her head. She turned suddenly, and blinked, as if she just remembered Aaldur had asked a question. < Whatever's in there, I bet something wild'll happen. > She grinned wide, and turned, darting off again to the tend.
Two were indeed enough, but Noks had a feeling of hope that some other people would be there. After all, who heard of a carnival made up of two people? She looked over her shoulder at Aaldur, and grinned. < Hurry up! > She said over her shoulder, bouncing along to the tent. She stopped just outside of it, and looked up, tilting her head slowly. The tent was canvas-colored, and looked like it was three tents morphed together. < Hmmmm... > She paused contemplatively, tapping her chin and frowning. < It's awfully quiet for a carnival... > Maybe there was something wrong. Maybe someone ate the carnival people!

She could be right. The little hacker had a very argumentative nature... and since Yue was rather relenting, the boy had never bothered curbing Aaldur's habit of continuing an argument for ... a very, very long time. <Hmph.> That was all Aaldur said this time.
<Funny name?! What kind of name is 'NOKS' anyways? D< !!! > The hacker retorted, ignoring the other hacker's previous comment about his 'childish' nature. Whatever... just because he knew how to fun didn't make him 'childish'. <Have you ever heard of the god "Baldur"? That's my namesake - but at least Yue was creative enough to change it around... a bit.>
<Court of kings and queens and cards?? You are bizarre.> Aaldur mused as he drifted along, sometimes falling behind a bit to investigate pieces of free roaming data that he would often take a small bite out of to satisfy his curiosity. <At least, I hope it'll be wild - otherwise this entire venture would've been for naught.>
<Good grief, I'm coming.> Once again he had drifted aside and he made a face at the bits of data he had just ingested - it... wasn't very good, compared to all the other ones that he tasted earlier. <Woah. Big place. Bigger than I thought.> He commented as he stared at the tent in awe. <Maybe all the people are inside - it looks like it could fit the entire WORLD! Why don't we go in?> Excited, the hacker darted around Noks in quick circles, grinning wildly.

< Never heard of him. > Noks shook her head distractedly, and blinked when called bizarre, spinning around to face him. She snorted when she spotted the Aaldur person lagging a little, and crossed her arms over her chest. < Well, come on. And I'm not bizarre. > She stuck her tongue out, and turned, floating towards big tent.
When they'd both arrived, she couldn't help but giggle giddily at the tent. Noks nodded in agreement, and laughed a little at his darting, nodding again quickly. < Well what're we waiting for, let's go! > Noks bolted past him, and flew through the open flaps of the tent, inside.
Whoever had created this land mass had somehow set up a show that was going on inside. While the seats were empty, the show kept going on loop. A tiger jumped through a flaming hoop, a girl swung back and forth on a trapeze, and the Ringleader directed attention from one ring to the next, seemingly unaware that his show was only for two little AI hackers. < This is so cool. > Noks awed, floating over to one of the bench seats dead center and sitting down. When the tiger leapt back through the hoop, she jumped back. < Holy CRAP! O.O Did you see that?! > She exclaimed, flailing a little in excitement. That was so COOL!
((OOC: I have NO idea how I somehow forgot to reply to this. >.< I'm sorry, Fai!))
