Holy's Custom Ideas and Quests I freely admit that I'm a hoarder, and as such it is unlikely that I'll be able to rest until I have at least one of every Painter species. This Thread is dedicated to my various quests and ideas.
I definitely want to get a Mardi Gras themed Painter at some point.
I'd also like something symbolic or meaningful to me. I have several ideas: Slytherin, December birth stone, something Scarlet(t). By "something Scarlet(t)" I mean something with Scarlet in its name, like a Scarlet snake or a Scarlet Tanger.

Custom Idea #1: Geisha Done
Alright, so... I'm considering possibly getting a custom. The idea, you might ask? A geisha-themed dragon.
The pattern would obviously be Asian themed, most likely based around an actual kimono. Here are some patterns/designs that I like:
Blue with Flowers
Burgandy Flowers and Cranes
Purple Flowers and Pattern
Green Subtle with Flowers
I would not want a dragon with hair; that's just odd. However, I would like the dangling sakura hair/head ornament:
Sakura Decoration(On the right of each girl's head)
I would also like the dragon to have the painted geisha face, but that should be simple. A kimono on the dragon would be interesting but seeing as how I can't picture it I'll pass on that. The only other thing that might be expensive - but thankfully optional for me - is this: I would like a female Aviadracus, but without the head feathers.
How much gold can I /do I have? A Coco kitty. So... would I be able to afford it? o.O

Hmm. Well, if you wanted to go with the head feathers removed, you wouldn't be able to afford it, but with just the colors and the head piece..
The markings could be considered complex, since there are lots of little flowers and patterns within it that would take time to do individually. So that would be
Complex markings on Female Aviadracus: 90k
The Headdress also has lots of little flowers on it, so will take time to draw, color, and shade it. If you want them to be able to be used by other people, it will cost less but be not as unique.
Unique only to you: 60k (Mass produced: 15k)
Bribe fee: 30k
180k Total (165k if you should choose to have the headdress mass produced)
A CoCo Kitty is worth around 250k, If you want you could definately add more jewelery elsewhere on the body, things like something added to the tip of the tail, Minor additions to the body like a set of horns (they count as jewelery) or anything else that is under 70k. :3
You can DEFINATELY afford it. biggrin

Having the head/hair piece mass produced is 15k or 15k less?
If I managed to get one of those custom slots tomorrow, would that 30k bribe fee still apply?
Something on the tail... I like that idea. Maybe a bow/ribbon. I probably won't have the head/hair piece mass-produced, but I'd have the bow mass produced; everyone loves bows!

biggrin Bribe fee would not count if you get one in the flatsale, since then it wouldnt be a bribe but just a regular order.
And having the head piece mass produced is 15k total for that part of the custom instead of 60k total for that part of the custom.

Well I'm leaning to the first design (blue with flowers) with the head decoration and a bow on the tail.
What artist do you think would best handle this custom idea? I know flowers can be a pain...

Custom Idea #2: Balrog (Got Fell Beast instead)
A custom common male Sandpainter done to look like a Balrog from Lord of the Rings. Body should be colored in some way to look like a mixture of shadows and fire/lava, spine spikes should be removed and replaced with a crest of flames. Eyes should be solid yellow and appear to glow, head fins should be removed and replaced with the horns of the Balrog. Would like the inside of mouth to be colored in such a way that it looks like it's glowing.

1.Adult coloring :60k +30k for difficult coloring
+
#7. +300k for minor editing the template's actual body (mutating the face, shredding wings, removing frills and spikes, altering frills and spikes)
So the total would be 390k I think

Custom Idea #3: Sin-Vanya (OC) Done!
Female adult Chi'Lin. Bony plates and claws should be gold, scales should be medium-dark brown with golden sheen, and skin should be medium-dark brown. Eyes should be solid (pupil-less) and a fiery gold/orange blend that glows. Mane/tail should be black with scattered gold beads.
Option 1: Mane/Tail should be black and braided, gold beads in the mane (Egyptian-esque); mane/tail would stay same length.

Option 2: Tail should have gold spikes like Stegosarus instead of hair.
Could I get quotes for this idea both with and without the option?
Total: 140 k with Option 1, 380k (?) with Option 1 and 2.

Could I get quotes for this idea both with and without the option? Without the braids it would be 80k for Adult Chi' lin 80k total With the braids it would be: 80 +60k for difficult edits such as extensive jewelry and hair :140k total

Custom Idea 4: "Save" Bhagirath UC
So, I chose the color sheme for my staff Griffin Bhagirath, and boy did I choose poorly. I am going to pay to get him re-colored. <- Or so I thought.
I would replace all the light blue on the body with black, and I would also replace the green on his front legs with black. The blue stripes would stay, and some would also be added to the wings. The fading feathers on the wings would be changed to the darker blue color, as would his claws and the pads on his back feet. His eyes would be emerald green and his beak would be black.

{So... yeah. The recent price increase has made it more unlikely that I'll be getting either of these any time soon. Which, if either, I decide to quest for will be decided when the results of my Painter Sayuri's breeding.}
P'an-Lun Idea: Mardi Gras
Male P'an-Lun with a tan (cake) colored body, edited to look like white icing has been poured on his back and that colored sugar - purple, green, and yellow - was then sprinkled on top. Edited to have purple, green, and gold beads around his neck. Mane should be edited to be feathers instead of hair, colors being purple and green; no "beard". Tail should also be purple and green feathers. Face should be edited to look like wearing a Mardi Gras mask (3rd row 2nd column or 2nd row 4th column, whichever looks better). Horns should be curved like the "arms" of a jester hat ([x] [x]): down and very slightly in. One should be purple in color and the other green, but both should have a gold bell at the end. Gold claws and eyes.
Inspiration for body coloring is the king cake. [x] [x]
True/traditional King Cakes are made with dough that it braided before it is baked and typically includes cinammon.
Familiar is important. It shall be a Grassland Unicorn, edited to look like the Boeuf Gras: white body, two black horns on side of the head, black hooves, and a wreath of flowers around neck.
Total 550k+
P'an-Lun Idea: Prasheila OC
Female P'an-Lun. White curly mane, albino eyes. Gold and silver bangles and anklets. White body opal (pastel rainbow) henna markings on hands, arms, feet, legs, and tail. Opal butterfly wings, face scales, and horns. Red cord necklace with gold pendant with "aum" sign.
Wings = Mostly white with opal-like (pastel/faded rainbow) colors scattered throughout. No curls at the bottom, smooth edges.
Henna = [x] [x] [x]
Necklace = Round gold beads, gold pendant with raised "aum" sign.
Total 450k + 30k + 600k = @.@;
