Hey,
for my next production I want a nice, dramatic play with pehaps a few humorous moments. I have this image of a set where strings are attached tto something above and connected to the actors, so that it creates the image that the characters are puppets. Any show where the characters are puppets or where the play is about being manipulated would be of great help.
Thanks

Give 'Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead' by Tom Stoppard a read-through. I don't know if it will exactly fit in with your vision, but it's a truly excellent play, focusing on the hapless pawns from 'Hamlet', so it might work out for you.
Plus it's really, really good. I'm reccomending it all over the place because I'm obsessed with it right now, but when you said 'puppets', I thought of the main characters immediately.
