Now there's an unusual subject heading for a Doctor Who forum.

'Love among the Lobelias' is the name of gem of a short story that went out on Radio Four today, and has a double connection to Who.

It's by Rob 'Dalek' Shearman and like the very best of his Doctor Who scripts (Deadline and The Holy Terror) concerns itself with the theme of damnation.

And it's performed with relish by a spot-on Mark Gatiss. smile

The BBC have been kind enough to put it online for the next six days, and enjoying it is absolutely the best thing you could do with the next fifteen minutes...

Just realised that I'm fibbing. The story hasn't got a double Who connection. It's got a triple Who connection since it's produced and directed by Martin Jarvis, the Governor of Varos.

Or (if you're Sil) produced and directed by Martin Jarvis, the Govanuuuuerererr of Varos.

Just listened to it. I liked it though it was kinda creepy,lol. And its funny at the same time....but mostly it creeped me out xp
