Clearing his throat, Vashtya stared at the front door in front of him-he really shouldn't be so nervous, right? I mean, sure, it'd been awhile since he'd come to visit--the last time had been during the whole...birthing process. However, he had to wonder how Rini was doing--had she grown? Would she be able to even EAT the candy he'd brought with him?
Taking a few deep breaths, he straightened, pasting a smile on his face as he raised one pale, slender hand...and rapped on the door twice. Gawd, but he hoped that Rini still remembered him.

it was actualy Rini who had heard the knock on the door "I GOT IT!!" she yelled as she ran to the front door. Rini and Lulu were both in the living room watching a TV show, and Lulu didnt heard what she was talking about. But since she had better hearing lulu followed her to the door. Rini opened the door and smiled "hello!" she had no idea who this person was, but Lulu did.
"VASHY!" she almost yelled as she ran to the man and huged him "oh my gosh! its SO good to see you" she almost had tears in her eyes. It had been waaaay to long since the two had meet. she let go and put her hands on her hips "where HAVE you been?!" she humphed.
Rini giggled and huggled her moms arm "Hi Vashy" she said with a smile. Lulu picked her up, and held her on her hip, she was taller, but still light enough to hold like that "mom is being silly" she then shaw the candy "is that for me kind sir?!" she added the sir, hopping that if it wasnt, it would get her the candy anyway.

Flushing slightly, Vash grinned at Lulu and Rini--who, he noted, had grown into a lovely child. "Last time I saw you, kiddo, you were drawing your first breath, and wailing." he said with a wink, holding out the small bag of candy with a grin. "And Lulu," he began warmly, having the grace to blush a bit more in embarrassment. "I apologize for not visiting sooner--there's no excuse, really, other than the fact that I've had...a lot've new charges to situate, and while I realize that's no excuse..." he cut himself off abruptly, preventing a further onslaught of rambling.
"Anyway, I wanted to stop by to see Rini and you again, so..here I am, albeit belatedly." he finished, grinning sheepishly.

Rini blinked, yep, she couldnt remeber who this man was, but Lulu seemed to like him, and he said he knew her, and he had CANDY!!! She definatly liked him for that "thank you!" Lulu let hr down and she hugged him before taking his hand "come on in! i want to show you my new room! i just got it all prity!" she said with a big smile as she waited for him to come.
lulu sighed "its ok vashy" she ruffled Rini's hair "Rini, hes also your godfather, isnt that cool?"
Rini nodded "yeah! come on god father! come see my room!"
lul nodded with a warm smile and stepped back so Rini could lead the way.

Smiling more widely, Vash obligingly allowed himself to be dragged off by Rini. "I'd love to see it, thank you!" he replied with an affectionate chuckle. "And thank you, lulu, for being so kind." he continued, leaning over to brush a quick, between-friends peck on the cheek as he was dragged by.

Rini draged him off while Lulu smiled with a little blush, it had been very long. "ill go get some lemonade, we can have it on her room." Called out Lulu as she turned to the kitchen to get some. Rini nodded "its so cool Vashy!" and draged him down a hallway before turning to a door "ok, close your eyes!" the sound of a door could be heard and she made him steep forward a little more. "ok! open them!" she said with a warm glee to her voice.

With a small, self-directed smile at Lulu's blush, Vash followed the youngster down the hallway, closing his eyes, as per her request. Careful not to trip, he allowed himself to be led forward, keeping his silvery eyes closed until otherwise instructed.
Slowly, he opened his eyelids, blinking a few times. "WOW. You certainly have a lovely room!" he exclaimed, smiling down at Rini. "Did you pick out the decorations yourself?" he asked, his gaze taking in every detail of what much be the ideal bedroom for a young girl.

Rini smiled "I helped!" she led him into the room and onto the carpet were they could sit and have the lemonade "i helped pick that" she points to the purple armura "and that" then to the star bush "and that!" and finally to the star multi colored lamp. she was wiggiling around the purplw sofa as she pointed to things;. "so you like it?"

Nodding, Vash peered at each of the objects he was shown. "I do indeed--you have a lovely eye for color, Rini...the room is beautiful." he said softly, smiling down at the effervescent youngster. "Where did you get some of these things?" he asked, genuinely curious.
