After stashing loads of stuff in various mules and selling just about every extra MC I have, including my precious katanas (I'll get you back, I swear!) and a 1st gen Fausto's Bottle I got enough to get my laurels back!
My next quest item is an Angelic Pendant and my katanas.

I'M WILLING TO SELL MY ALL MY STUFF..
....FOR A KITSUNE MASK LOL
FIRST I BUY MC'S I HOLD ONTO THEM
UNTIL THEY GET A LITTLE PRICEY.
I SELL THEM.. I USUALLY GET LIKE 100-350K
THEN WITH MY EARNINGS I BUY REALLY OLD MC'S LIKE KATANAS OR WHATEVER..
BOUGHT 3 KATANAS ONCE WITH 400K BUT I SOLD THEM RIGHT AWAY WHEN
I SAW THAT THE PRICE WAS GOING DOWN.. A FOOLISH MISTAKE..
BUT I'M BACK ON THE TRACK WITH 700K
I'LL WAIT TILL MY DEMONA AND ANGELLUS GET A LITTLE MORE PRICEY
THEN I'LL SELL ALL OF MY STUFF FOR THAT KITSUNE MASK...♥

i cant quest. i always get so inpatient. i really want horns of the demon. but i just cant get the money, im bad with my vending skills.
i think i might get a ton of gaia cash and sell a good amount of letters.

The only quest I really suffered for was for a Nitemare Scarf. When I got that, I had to sell just about everything that I had. My main avi was pretty bare for a bit, but I love the scarf.

Well, I've got two of the three items I wanted most: Kiki kitty and the bani clips, both bought when, um, they were quite a bit less than they are now but still in questworthy territory.
Basically I sold everything that wasn't nailed down, I played jigsaw puzzles until I was half blind, I collected trash in towns for hours....yeah, I hadn't quite figured out vending yet.
The only remaining item I don't have that I want is the bunny slippers. First, let me say that I'm not poor, but if I sold EVERYTHING I have, I wouldn't even come close to what they go for.
So I figured out what it would take to get them. It was several years of continual vending at my most intense, or about $5000 real life.
Sorry, nothing on Gaia is worth that in terms of either time or money.

I would sell pretty much everything for some items >.> but even with selling everything I have I'd come realy short >.<
at the moment I'm after a wtf hat Im about 20k short *sweat drop* and I'll probably never get it, even though I realy want it I'm just nto willing to sell my realy jacked up shirt and pants..... I worked way to hard to get them and it was kind or a kick to the face when the went down in price

I've been questing Goti Clips, Horns of the Demon and a Devil Tail since I got here [late 04 early 05]. I have a tendency to rarely get past 100k before buying something else..so I doubt I'll ever get to the point of owning those items. xd I'm still in shock from completing my quest for Golden Laurels. I never thought I'd see that completed.

I've been a member of gaia for a little over a year now... (sticking with anything for that long is amazing for me) I always told my friends, after I obtain my goal, I'm quitting... then again... getting 7 ancients seems a bit unlikely now... so I might end up a member of gaia for a long time now... "to obtain one's goal, nothing is sacred"

What I used to do for tough quests is sell all my other items to get a pricey one, but then that left me with pretty much nothing but the one item so I'm going about it differently, I'll slowly make up the money by buying collectibles and evolving items so then I can keep my other pricey items. Current quest is Demon Horns.

Well all of my main quests have been achieved.......... however up comes the big mama of them all........
the ever elusive Angelic Halo! eek
And to get it...... hmmmm I would be willing to sell my mini angel wings as well as sell my investments to make my gold amount about 10 to 11 mill in pure (that is with the 2% deducted) so about 44-47mill total..... and besides that what else can I do?? Just vend my a** off and hope I get lucky Seeing that I don't ask or accept donations..... this will be a pain in the a** to accomplish!
