Yunoko followed after Kigu and looked down the trail and the lake beyond. Her ears twitched and brought her back from her thinking when Kigu spoke. Grining she takes he spot infront of Kigu and trys to remember what he said and how to sit. She was looking at what was below again before she peered back at Kigu. "I think I'm all set!"

Kigu grinned and backed up a little bit. Leaning forward, Kigu rushed towards the bark and launched himself onto the back while yelling, "Dig your claws into the bark... This is gonna get vertical!!!" The makeshift sled lurched forward and slid over the edge at the impact of Kigu's body. It zoomed through the trees getting faster and faster all the time Kigu either leaning from side to side to steer past rocks and trees. Every once in a while, lying on the path would be a small bump, but when gone over with the sled it became a ramp and would shoot the bark and its riders into the air. Kigu controlled the sled with complete confidence as they swerved through the forest. "WOOF! Isn't this fun! Weee!!!" Kigu yelped and giggled as the sled stopped increasing in speed and continued to slide steadily, but at a break neck pace down the side of the hill.

Yunoko nodded and dug her claws in and felt the wood under them move. A grin on her face she looked at the path ahead of them. She knew this was going to be fun and let out a laugh as they moved. "So fun!" She tried to help move the wood when Kigu shifted. She dug her claws in more to make sure she didn't go flying off and laughs again.

The trees rushed past the both of them, and the wind was rushing through Kigu's fur. Kigu's tongue lolled and flapped in the wind, and he giggled loudly as the trees began to thin. Going at the speed they were, there was only one way to stop the sled, and it wasn't exactly manual. Suddenly they broke through the cover of the trees, and in front of them was a small lake connected to a fast moving river. "Hang on Yunoko! This is our stop!" Kigu yelped as he steered the sled towards an out-cropping, a sort of hill that had been eaten away by the water; it looked almost like a perfect ramp. Leaning forward, Kigu urged the sled to move faster as they neared the jump, and within a split of a second, the sled was launched up into the air, and they were thrown over into the middle of the lake. Kigu threw himself off the bark and plunged into the water, barking and giggling the entire way.

Yunoko laughed as they were sent into the air then jumped just before the bark hit the water. Diving under with a nice lung of of air she made sure not to go laughing and letting all that air out. Diving down a little farther she peers around to where Kigu had gone before seeing if she could swim against the water.

Kigu heard Yunoko laugh as she dived under the water and knew not too worry about the impact stunning her. He took a deep breath himself and dived after her. With a giggle Kigu spotted Yunoko through the clear water and waved too her with his paw. Kigu then paddled all the way to the bottom of the lake and shuffled around for a bit. After he found what he was looking for, Kigu clamped it tightly in his jaws and began to push his way back too shore hoping Yunoko would follow.

Yunoko was having fun just swimming around and when she saw Kigu heading towards the shore she started after. It was not to hard to follow him up because she was close by. With her head breaking the water line she took in a nice breath of air and went the short distance to the shore and got out. She took a moment to shake the water from her fur then peered at him.

Kigu shook out his fur like a dog and lolled his tongue, turning around to look at Yunoko. His fur was sticking out in all directions, making him look like a walking puffball. With a wild laugh Kigu placed the object he had collecting from the bottom of the lake in front of Yunoko. It was a fresh water clam, larger than the average, with a black obsidian sheen. Kigu happily and wagged his tail, "I'm a clam diver! Open it Yunoko! Open it! You might find something... pretty inside" Kigu wiggled with excitement because he had picked this clam with the exact reason that he KNEW a very rare pearl resided within that glazed shell.

Yunoko blinked and moved over to peer at the clam. "I don't think I have ever seen a clam before..." She sniffed it carefully for a moment then peered at Kigu. "They are pretty tho." She laughed and set to work opening the shell. It took her a few trys to get it but she got the thing to open. "Hmm?" She poked her nose in to see what was inside.

Settled apon the muscle within the large clam was a beautiful black pearl. It was not perfectly round, but was a tear drop shape that gave it even more charm. The pearl glinted and shone in the daylight sun and Kigu smiled happily. He moved in closer to take a look at it and whistled through his teeth, "That one's a beauty! I didn't think it would be that pretty!" He giggled and blinked over at Yunoko, "I have collected at lot of pearls and I love giving them away. That one is your special one if you want it!" Kigu paused for a moment in thought and then continued, "I bet our Guardiran, Beriothien could and would make that into an earing or necklace for your if you asked!"

Yunoko was stunned by the black pearl. "Wow! It is so pretty! I have only seen some white ones but never a black one. Or one shaped like this." She looked at him and smiled. "Thank you! Thank you from this pearl!" She looked down at it again and looked at it for a while. "I never knew what made the pearls, but this one is so pretty and I will always have it to remember you!" She jumped around a little and grinned. "Oh I want to make it into a necklace so I can never loss it!"
