Yes you can!

I do it myself ALL the time. It's extremely simple as well. You just have to remember you need to have that network file on your internal memory card for the PS2 setup. But you really don't have to do anything with it, just set it all to automatic in the set up menu. All it's used for is to get past that one loading part where it looks for it, and the rest is done by the PS3s online set up.

Cool you're getting one in March! Thats the month I got mine 3nodding

I have to have that memory card thing to transfer my data to the PS3 right?

The game data and network setup-up data

To transfer yes. But if you don't mind starting all over in some games, then no.

Also remember the network setup data won't transfer. You'll have to make a new one. But like I said, all you really need the file for is to get pass the where it loads it. You can completely BS the setup, or set everything on auto.

Yes and no.

The games I've played online using WiFi have been great! PS2 and the Lost Planet Demo.

Tekken 5 is a different bag of beans!

Because Tekken 5 DR Online has no dedicated servers it does a P2P kinda thing, so your NAT HAS TO BE either 2 or 1 *If it's 1 it means your directly plugged in, and you're not using WiFi*.

If your NAT is 3 *like mine* then you will have Lag, hard time staying in rooms, getting kicked out, etc. So you'll need to do some Port Forwarding *which I'm still having trouble with*.

Follow that guide.

I myself prefer ethernet over wireless....because when I'm playing Warhawk, my ping is like 100 all the time with ethernet...and when I use wireless, my ping jumps up to 300 for some reason.
