Yes, most girls get their period between the ages of 10 and 16, with 12 being about average. So if you have not gotten yours yet, you probably will soon. If you do not get it by the time you are 16, you can go to an ob-gyn just to make sure nothing is wrong.

Yeah I think it's anywhere from 10 to 16 years old. I got mine at the beginning of the year when I was 13 (turning 14 in 6 months or so). I've known other people who didn't get their period until 15 years old.
Don't be embarrassed about not having your period yet, it's really nothing to be excited about lol Well for me it isn't anything to be excited about.

I don't think I got mine until I was almost fourteen. Don't worry about it. In fact, consider yourself lucky. XD Periods are a pain and are messy and annoying to deal with, so the longer you don't have to deal with it, the better, I think. You'll get it eventually. Your friends don't even need to know if you've got it or not, you can tell them its not their business. I don't think any of my friends ever talked about when theirs started. It's not some contest to see who gets theirs first. xp

I got mine at age nine so I dont think that there's an actual fixed age because everybody grows at a different rate.
