Reunion
Jenni was running. Running and running like she'd never run before. Twigs and pine needles stabbed up at her one bare foot, while she stumbled along on her other leg. For the millionth time she cursed her damn high-heels. If it hadn't been for them, she might be able to run a bit faster.
Blood streaked her left leg, leading up to a six-inch gash on her calf. Her half-slip was clinging on desperatly to her blood-saturated torso, though this was not her blood. Her face was streaked with still more blood and tears. The fresh blood mingled with the salty liquid and came off red, as if the poor girl was crying blood. Now and then she'd turn her head, trying to peer through the thick mist, trying to see the madman
The night had started off so innocently! Everyone was together, most of them were drunk, and those who weren't upstairs were all ready to watch this old movie they'd brought up here. They were all in a good mood, and ready to see if this flick was really 'cursed' like the old man had claimed. Even Clyde seemed to be having fun, though he had his nose buried in that creepy old book when he wasn't eyeballing Kelsy's cleavage. He seemed as obsessed with that old volume, the Necro-something, than he was with the girls in the cabin.
That's when the screaming began. It had started upstairs, when Marie had come down half-naked and covered in blood. She was delerious, screaming that Byron had been ripped apart, that someone had killed him in his sleep by slicing his face open with four razors. Before they could comfort her, another scream had brought them into the living room. Clyde was dead, staring blankly at the white circle on the television. And before they'd even had a chance to see what was wrong, a strange man had appeared in the doorway. His face was concealed by a mask that seemed to resemble a human face, and he was carrying a bloody knife in one hand. His other hand was being used to drag the body of the poor old man who'd sold them both book and tape.
Jenni didn't want to remeber more, but they came pouring into her mind. The freak with the chainsaw, that winged lady wearing the mask, the thing that had been eating Jake on the sofa, the man with razor-fingers, and the crazy goalee with the machete. The last one was the man who'd cut open her leg so badly. He would've done more, but Razor-fingers had stopped gutting Mandy long enough to notice him and turn his blades on him. Jenni was the only one of her friends to escape that bloody melee alive. And now she was never going to stop running, not in a million-
Fred J. Kruger grinned as the girl charged straight into his waiting claw. Two of his razor tipped fingers had sliced neatly through her jugular, causing her to fall foreward and begin the slow process of choking on her own blood. Freddy grinned and lowered himself t a crouch, grinning as he caressed the dying girls face.
"Awww, what's the matter sweetheart? You don't wanna play?" The look on her face was worth the fact that she died faster due to an increase in pulse.
Freddy clicked his tounge as he drew himself up to his full height and gazed around. So far, no one else had thought to ditch the cabin and come looking for stragglers. Last he'd seen, the cabin had been a bloody mess, leaving him the only one to notice that the b***h was escaping. There was no way he was going to let a scuffle with old hockey-puck ruin his chances of a top score.
Glancing up, Freddy grinned. He knew that he'd heard a stick break somewhere. He spread his arms wide and offered an apologetic grin. "Sorry Mikey. Looks like you're a bit late for this one. I think that puts you one point above Leather." His grin widened. "And I'm still leading by-"
whump"Sonofabitch!" Roared Freddy as something large and vaugly round flew by his head. As the object came to rest, it became clear that it was a severed human head.
With a machete sticking out.
Growling, the Springwood Slasher began to turn around, knowing who waited behind him. Jason stood, proudly displaying a cardboard sign that read
None. I win again! Yay!"Yeah, yeah, yeah, laugh it up ya damn Hockey-puck. Next round, we go to
My home-turf. Let's see how you like me where I'm most feared."
He paused as the masked killer hastily began to scribble on a second peice of signboard. After a minute, he proudly displayed his less-than-neat handwriting, reading
I've kickd ur sorry butt 3 times in a row now Krew-ger. 1 mor time shudn't b that hard"That's it! It's time to settle this once and for all! I'm so damn sick of you rubbing that
one 'win' in my f--king face! If it hadn't of been for those God-damned teenagers, I woulda kicked your momma-lovin' a** straight back to the f--kin' 50's!" With that, Freddy launched himself at Jason Voorhees, ramming his claws through signboard and flesh. Jason, in retaliation, yanked Krugers hat off of his head and held it up as high as he could. The shorter man growled. "Yeah, that's
real mature Voorhees." Freddy growled.
Before the fight could go any further, both men were knocked flat by a running tackle from Micheal Myers, who'd been standing by ever since Freddy had first addressed him. He had now decided that it was time for a free-for-all and quickly had obsconded with Freddy's hat after slicing off three of Jasons fingers. Freddy rolled his eyes and began stumping after the other mute. "F--king idiots..."
Jason stared blankly at his injured hand a moment, then looked up to see that Freddy and Micheal had both vanished. He cocked his head to the side in confusion for a moment, then returned his gaze to his severed digits.. As he studied them, something began approaching through the woods. Jason turned his head at a small sound, but didn't look into it. Another such sound brought his head up. The Crystal Lake Killer swivled his head around, gauging the surrounding forrest. It was silent as the grave.
He turned his head around one more time and found himself face to face with doom.
"God damn mutie... swear ta God I'm gonna slice that f--kin' mask right of his f--kin' face when I get my hands on 'em..." Freddy growled as he stumbled and shoved through the dense foliage
