Delilah was always the most ladylike of the four angels living in my home. She would quietly make tea, using chairs to stand on every day at 3 pm, drinking the product of her work at 4 pm. She was predictable in some ways, but unpredictable in others. She was much more delicate than Noah and Webter, but the way Noah watched her was surprizing. One day I decided to ask her about it, and discussion blossomed.
"Noah..?" She replied to my question. "Ah yes....He's quite the gentleman.." A blush rose to her cheeks very quietly, and my suspicions were confirmed. The discussion continued for another five minutes before I brought up another question for the girl.
"When Noah was your age....He said something about guarding something...Something he needed to guard. Do you need that as well?" I asked with a small smile. Delilah nodded once more, still acting like the little lady she was.
"Yes..I belive all of us need something. It's like how humans cannot live without food or water.." She nodded. "Even us nocturns still have the need." That was right...I had forgotten about her black wings for so long. I smiled at her again.
"Then what do you want to guard over?"
"Strangely enough...I want to guard over scientists." She said with an embaressed smile.
"Scientists?" I questioned, raising my eyebrow. "Um..Alright?" I couldn't help but let her choose. Great. First it was Noah and his rainy days, then Armond and his clocktower, and NOW I had this elegant little girl who had scientists. Wow. If life was interesting before, then it was just like one of those romance novels now.
