We have reason to believe that the United States of America is about to succumb to the Replica forces. Though the original count (three years prior) was only that of a battalion, their numbers have increased exponentially into the millions. They continue to threaten the human populous of America, as well as bordering nations, Canada and Mexico. However, even though Replica forces are considered to be the immediate threat, the mercenaries known as the Nightcrawlers have also grown in size, as well as power, due to the connections within the past. Plus, the ATC guard seems to have formed into an actual militia now; struggling to continue to act on their own (much like the Nightcrawlers and the Replica Army).
Despite the destruction of Origin Point within the Armacham laboratories, Fettel's Replica forces seem to have been able to restore most of the facility--mainly the clone reproduction machinery, as well as incubation chambers. In doing so, this has become F.E.A.R.'s new main objective: To eradicate the Origin Point once again, as well as to locate Fettel once more and eliminate him. Secondary objectives to the mission of F.E.A.R. and SFOD-D members are to locate and eliminate all Nightcrawler activity to prevent their recreation of the Origin Project. And as another secondary mission, it is equally important to put a stop to ATC activity by locating and incarcerating Genevieve Aristide--president and CEO of Armacham Technology Corporation. However, if the situation becomes hostile, the permission to use deadly force is granted to eliminate the threat of Armacham to secure the safety of future generations.
Though the epidemic is growing on a national scale, the US army, national guard, marine corps--all have paled in comparison to the increasing threat of the Replica forces. Nevertheless, they still stand strong fighting across the nation, as well as aiding the bordering nations. But of course, homeland security can only do so much. And seeing as we were first into this mess, we are expected by the government to clean this up. Unfortunately, though, we are expected to do so without a heavy surplus of funds, let alone man power. However, we are granted the extensive usage of the SFOD-D and its resources to assist F.E.A.R. till all missions are accomplished.
