The plains are an expanse of short stubby grass that almost seems to engulf the entire floor there. There is no mud, no dirt.
Most of the Aisulu find themselves here,
attracted by the great fields or because
of the simple beauty of th nearby lake.
The sun shines greatly here, and no shade
except for the lake makes the little body of water even more appealing.
When the sun rises above Glory Lake, the smile it bestows there and there alone sets the water's surface aflame with goldenrod and ocher.
It's no wonder that even a celestial body smiles at the site of this lake; everything about it is pristine and beautiful.
Lotus lilies are scattered on the waters surface and the lake is encircled by a small beach of white sand and a wreath of willow trees.
Fish are surprisingly rare here, and if you do see the glimmer of scales, it may just belong to the mermaid said to live in these waters.
