Case Report #33
Case Reporter: Rowdy Betters

A new point man has been issued to the Alpha F.E.A.R. squadron, replacing Spen Jankowski. Several members of the Alpha squad are a bit unnerved by his presence, including myself. Jankowski continuously complains about how his "sees right through you," as does our SFOD-D issued officer, Holiday. Nevertheless, his skills are unparalleled to that of any member previously within F.E.A.R. Even so, is cold disposition and hidden persona seems to raise great suspicion with me. I feel as if he may be hiding something from us all. Perhaps he may be some sort of insurgent or spy from the powers-that-be to see if we are truly a waste of money to them. Even so, we have a job to do--despite being the laughing stock of the US Army.

Case Report #34
Case Reporter: Rowdy Betters

We have just received word that an experimental contract between Armacham Technology Corporation (ATC) and the US government have resulted in a catastrophic result. The experimentation--though top secret--was to have a sole leader be cloned and have complete telepathic control over them; gaining strategic intelligence without ever setting foot near the battlefield. As of right now, we are informed that there is at least a battalion of these cloned soldiers.

The battalion leader is a man named Paxton Fettel. Not much is known of him, for files upon him are also classified. However, Armacham has revealed that he willingly volunteered for the experimentation, but suddenly went insane; becoming cannibalistic and taking control of the prototype Replica soldiers. In doing so, he has seized the Armacham building and has started killing all personnel--civilians and security alike. However, to reduce losses on our behalf, we have been informed by Armacham that there has been a tracking microchip implanted within Fettel's skull in order to keep an eye on him. Also, if we are able to take out Fettel, the Replica Army should immediately seize and shut down.

F.E.A.R. team located a surviving member of Armacham Technology Corporation. His name is Aldus Bishop. Apparently, he was assigned to work along side with Alice Wade (Harlan Wade's daughter) on researching disturbances within the Auburn District within the past ten years. However, he has been taken hostage by Fettel and his Replica soldiers and questioned about Harlan Wade and his knowledge of Origin Project, as well as a few things about the Perseus Project. But for some reason, Bishop was allowed to live yet strapped with C-4 explosives. SFOD-D Douglas Holiday and is team were able to disable the bomb and have continued to move Bishop to an extraction point.

I have just received word that Aldus Bishop has been killed by Armacham security members. Apparently, they have a lot more to cover up than originally anticipated. So, as a result, I have decided to issue out a second team of F.E.A.R. operatives into the city in order to infiltrate Armacham Technology Corporation. This team is composed of Captain David Raynes, Lieutenant Steven Chen, and Sergeant ********. They will go into Armacham in order to fully investigate what the corporation is truly into dealing with on an illegal stand point.

Case Report #37
Case Reporter: Rowdy Betters

I have just been informed that a third party has been spotted within the Armacham building. Though their motives are unknown, they seem to be a group of mercenaries hired by the senator; working along side with Gavin Morrison. Though I do not have extensive knowledge of them, Captain Raynes has reported to me that these men are extensively trained in combat; almost more than the Replica soldiers. As for my end, I have found out that they call themselves the Nightcrawlers--somewhat of an elitist group of mercenaries willing to work for whomever at high price.

Though this complicates things tremendously, it also changes the team's main objective. Instead of primarily looking into Armacham's illegal activities, I have decided to making the further probing of these mercs, as well as pursuit of Morrison (agent to the senator) the main objective. For if the senator has desires of the ongoing that went on within the experimentations, such as Fettel and the Replicas, then F.E.A.R. has to make sure to put an end to his ideas before they even take root.

The situation has just become critical. The F.E.A.R. team sent into Armacham Technology Corporation (ATC) Origin Facilities has just lost contact with me after destroying the laboratory. The status of technical officer Jin Sun-Kwon, SFOD-D officer Douglas Holiday, and their point man are unknown. Furthermore, the status of Spen Jankowski, former point man yet still a current member of the team, is still unknown. Even though the Paxton Fettel's life-signals have seized, I fear that this could possibly still be his work somehow. Nevertheless, the destruction of Armacham's experimental facilities will still prove beneficial for the future, as well as prosperous for the safety of others. I just hope that my team can get out of there.

As for Captain Raynes and his squadron: They were able to be extracted, along with a sample of what appeared to be Fettel's DNA. However, while the UH-60 Blackhawk was taking off, the tail rotor sustained massive damage, resulting in the loss of the sergeant, as well as the DNA sample. As for officers Raynes and Chen, they were able to make it back safely to F.E.A.R. headquarters. Though a body was never found of the sergeant, vital signs from his suit indicated that he was killed--more than likely sustained from the fall.

I have just received contact with the first F.E.A.R. squadron that was sent into Armacham several weeks back. All members are accounted for, including the missing operative, Jankowski. Unfortunately, he has sustained heavy damage to himself, resulting in the paralyzation of his right leg. Douglas Holiday--SFOD-D member--and F.E.A.R.'s Jin Sun-Kwon are both healthy. As for their current point man, he was unfortunately found with his chest cavity torn open and limbs separated from his torso.

As for their current position, the Alpha squad is located within the sewer system of the city. I have sent out Captain Raynes and Lieutenant Chen to meet up and escort them back here, along with two dozen SFOD-D members. I refuse to allow any more members of the F.E.A.R. team to die by the hands of these Replica freaks or those mercenaries.

The remains of the F.E.A.R. team has finally made it back to headquarters. Surprisingly, they have had made it back in one piece. But as for the the twenty-four SFOD-D officers I issued to accompany Raynes and Chen; they were unable to make it back. Also, officers Chen and Holiday sustained heavy damage while on their way back by unexplainable means. Their wounds were not marked by any firearm or knife or even by blunt-force trauma. It appears like claw marks upon their armor, as well as their skin were left as whatever evidence did this to them.

I'm not exactly certain on what this may mean, however Chen reported on seeing a small girl several occasions. And right before Chen and Holiday were attacked, Chen reported that he saw a small girl in a red dress or heard light laughter from nowhere. There were also claims from the other members that there were unnatural disturbances or electrical interference with their equipment before the SFOD-D officers were massacred in a brutal fashion. I'm not sure what to make of this, either, but I know that this could possibly lean towards the more paranormal spectrum of why F.E.A.R. was originally formed.

I hope I'm wrong.
