Okay, so one of my friends works for Microsoft, and one for Apple. They always say that both suck, I guess cause doing tech support is hard. Anyway I hated Mac's until I worked on the newer ones, although I am the most comfortable with Win XP Pro after using Mac OSX I started liking it too. I was just wondering, with the new Vista being out and "buggy" how many people would choose Apple as the best and how many would choose Microsoft? Be honest. n.n
Personally, I would choose Win XP Pro, so Microsoft. The thing that turns me on most about Apple is the iPod. I know they have iPhone in the states but I'm from Canada so we don't have them yet.

PCs handle iTunes, too.
I'm more comfortable with XP Pro PCs, but I can use Macs whenever I need to. I did all of my Photoshop work on a Mac.

i am mac all the way. i grew up with a mac in the family, and also pc was there. but when you are using a pc that randomly does the screen of death while you are writing a paper in middle school, that causes a lot of issues.
the only thing i am not happy about with apple is the new macbook air and the new operating system. if you have seen the new layout of the window to the hard drive, it is ugly. no icons on the left column and cover flow is a joke. but that is just me and the peeves i have. and yeah, the macbook air i feel is more like a step backs than forwards. no cd drive, no firewire port, only 1 usb port, no ethernet port... it's just ridiculous.

I like PC's and Windows. Why? Because that's the system I'm the most comfortable with. I get confused sometimes using macs

PCs for me. It's what I'm used to and what I like. I started with macs (real old green screen ones, then iMacs) I think iMacs sorta ruined the mac for me, I hated the dang thing with a passion. Now I'm so used to windows there's no going back. I do have to use macs occaisionally at school when I take VC classes. The VC programs macs are pretty nice and supposedly handle thier heavier graphic programs alot better. But most of the intense projects I'd just take home and do because I was so lost on the macs navigation and so forth that it slowed me down.
I never did figure out how to save a picture off the internet with the one button mouse. Death to the one button mouse! Give me my right and left clickers and my scroll wheeley anyday. Plus one of my mice has a couple extrabuttons I set for undo commands, even though I've yet to get used to using that one.

I wish I had the money to get an Apple. I have a Mac now, and it runs horribly. Of course, I'm sure if I got a Mac that ran the same price as an Apple, the performance might compare a bit better. But all this crap about running Vista on all the newer models really burns me. Vista is horrible!

An apple is a Mac. Mac = Macintosh = Macintosh Apples.
I've heard a few people complaining about Vista. I've never had any trouble with it on my laptop. ME, now that sucked @#%.

Don't like Mac's. Love my PC, but not Vista. My mother-in-law has Vista on her laptop and its sucks a$$. >.<
I'm with Dusty. I hate the Mac's one clicker mouse, I like my two button mouse and scroll wheel. And I also hate the fact that you can't really do anything with the Mac in terms of add ons. When my college ( Motlow State Comm. College in Lynchburg, TN ) got some I gave it a try and hated it after two minutes and went across the aisle for the PC's. >.< My hubby liked them, but I couldn't stand them.
