Because my parents didn't 'think' about it and my brother didn't ask for 2 presents. So it's both of their faults. xD Lolz.
But since my b-day is the day when summer starts and I'm kinda spoiled, I ask for 2 presents and I get the presents. xDDDD

XxGrieverxX @puremua Same! xD And whenever I invite people to come, they never come, so I just gave up. SCREW YOU, FRIENDS. ]:< I once invited my best friend over for the weekend and we'd been planning for her trip (we live in separate cities!) and what we were going to do but then the day before she was supposed to come over, she sent me a text message and told me she felt like staying at home. She didn't even tell me why! emo
I hate it when two or more friends come over to my place after school and stay late. I don't know why really but it's very annoying when it's past 8 PM and they're still there. I always feel like yelling at them for ruining my alone-time lol. biggrin
I almost considered the idea of having a small get-together for my b-day this sunday but... I don't think it'll happen. Next year when I turn eighteen and my dad turns fifty I suppose mom'll throw us a BIG party. I've been trying to talk her out of it though and suggesting we should flee the country instead. To somewhere warm and nice, of course. cool

I used to ask for a video game and some specific books. Otherwise I had to remind my mom to look through my book shelf first if she planned on surprising me. But now my parents stick to giving a card with money and other little trinkets. They try to encourage independence for my brothers and me in every possible way.
Heh, haven't had a birthday party since third grade. And it was an unpleasant experience. Chose a tea party theme and invited nearly all the girls from my class since it was unusually small. They ended up raiding my room. Things seemed very out of control until the end.
Now I prefer to go to the mall with my best friend and hang out in the bookstore or Sanrio Surprises. This year we stayed up late watching the entire Matrix trilogy since mother could no longer stop me from seeing specific R rated movies without her permission. xD

I can't remember the last time I invited friends over for my birthday. I mean, having it the day after Christmas doesn't leave much of an option since everyone wants to be at home with their new presents. I never minded because I'm weird about having people in my house. I never let friends in my room because I'm scared they'll touch something and break it or accidentally tear a magazine.

I don't like it when my friends stay over on a school night too late too. D: I have one friend who always needed help on her anatomy homework, so she'd come over often. Kinda bothered me. She'd stay over for hours and hours and she'd get distracted by everything, so she'd never finish. ]:
I don't really care if my friends are in my room, but I hate it when they're in my bathroom. A lot of them mess with my perfumes and other things while they're in there for some reason, and they think I don't notice. :/
I never get money for my birthday, maybe like 5 dollars from my Grandpa, but that's it. xD

I hate it when my friends are in my room, especially if I'm not there. I'm always afraid they'll raid it and find something embarrasing I'm not even aware of having lol. I'm not as jumpy about it anymore than I used to be though! biggrin
I never get anything but money from my relatives for my birthday. It's because they never know what I like so they give me a few euros to spend on something I actually like so it won't go to waste. My grandparent's from my mother's side give 30 euros for each of their grandchildren (there are only six of us) for birthdays and my parent's usually get me cd's or a book or a game for my birthday. It's cool because I don't really need anything too big, it would make me uncomfortable haha. biggrin
Next year when I can finally get a driver's licence (you have to be eighteen or older) I hope I'll get it as a birthday present so I don't have to pay for it myself lol. xD

My family is pretty good with privacy but I still don't like people in my room. I'm really a**l about things being in order and in the right place. It makes it really easy to tell if someone's been snooping around in there because they never remember to move stuff back where they were. My older relatives usually send us $5 for birthdays and then $5 for Christmas. But for my dad and his family, they each give us around $100 for our birthdays and then another $100 for Christmas. Since I have my birthday right after Christmas I usually end up with around $500 in giftcards and cash total. My dad's family doesn't really know what I like so I get Visa Gift cards or cash from them.
