I was sitting on my desk early in school My friend comes in wearing short short short shorts (like underwear pretty much) with the "exception" of leggings underneath.
Most girls wear leggings alone, with a short top. Or just those shorts alone. "Sophies" is what they're called?
And then there's the super tight tops, and such. What has gotten into the fashion industries? These are little girls wearing these clothes!
V_V that is all

Stuff like that pisses me off.
In middle school, I was very....alternative with my style, including make-up. I liked wearing black lipstick and doing awesome eye make-up with eyeliner and shizz. But I was sent to the office I don't know how many times for being "weird" or "different". I was told that "being different is more socially unacceptable than a girl wearing a very low-cut top and short skirts", which I thought was ridiculous. I'm pretty sure that's correct. I see so many girls dressing like that, and no one says anything.
If there's people out there that like dressing like that, I'm perfectly fine with that. I'm just kind of pissed that dressing in very "revealing" clothing is more socially acceptable than dressing "differently". Of course, I think the times are changing~

It makes me so mad that little girls are all wearing this slutty clothes and then people with some self respect get ridiculed for it. Pretty much anything is more acceptable then being different these days. stare It's not right.

I have a story that is pretty similar to that.
At our school, the girls roll up their kilts really short. But I actually have some modesty, and I do not like my a** almost poking out from beneath my kilt. But that day, I wore a choker collar. It didn't have spikes or anything along those lings. It had a red heart on it, and the collar itself was black. And all the girls around me were of the norm: Blonde, preppy, stupid, and their kilts almost show the bottom of their asses.
And so, I was in the cafeteria line, and one of the cafeteria mods, my English teacher, walks by. And out of all those girls who had their kilt rolled up way too far, he decided to chatise me, because of my collar. He said it was 'unappealing.' I honestly told him to piss off. neutral
But yes. Back on topic. The only 'revealing' stuff I wear, are tight tanktops with v-necks, or skirts. But I usually wear tights with the skirt. They're just more comfortable for me, I guess. But I don't walk around in short short short shorts or anything, or only wear a shirt with leggings. That's just retarded.

Well, theres a difference between shortshorts and soffees... Soffee's are more for bumming around the house in, or exercising. They're made to be comfortable and let you move easier... not really appropriate for school, but I think its fine outside of it. All of the girls on my track team wear them to practice and such. But in general, shorts and leggings? I never really thought it was all that bad. I'm not really uber 'fashion conscious', but I do like prodding around the internet, looking at my favorite designers and what exactly it is they're wearing this season... i've worn things like that ---> with just black leggings underneath and a fitted t-shirt. Does that count as too revealing? Whats wrong with leggings? I've also only worn a top and leggings. But the top is always long and flowy and comes down to about my mid thigh... more like a dress than a shirt. :U but then again, you can also wear it like: idk, i don't really see what the big deal is. tights are tights, you know? it was the same thing in the 80's, which is what today's style is more reminiscent of... i think that if the entire outfit just looks cute and not slutty, theres nothing wrong with just wearing leggings like that. Granted, if you have leggings, and then a tight top and too much makeup and hooker boots, you have a problem, but.. tighttighttight tops never appealed to me, though. fitted t's, maybe, but bleh. uber tight things make me nervous. and showing off my boobs never really appealed to me, but i have a few shirts that are lowcut. just a little, though. ;p leggings/shorts/skirts, loose shirts, and skinny jeans <3 are like, my loves.

I don't know about you guys, but it's winter time right now. It's cold goddammit! D< So I prefer to wear long sleeved tops with jeans, but I recently did wear a skirt with leggings and legwarmers, and I was comfy and warm. And it was cute. :3
Miss Em Malicious But I was sent to the office I don't know how many times for being "weird" or "different". I was told that "being different is more socially unacceptable than a girl wearing a very low-cut top and short skirts." That. Makes me REALLYREALLYREALLYREALLY want to slice off whoever said that's head. And then pop out his eyeballs and cut open his head and do other torturous things to watch to his head while he still watches in horror. D< Because I am a hardcore believer in that you should be able to have your own style and not follow what everybody else is doing.
Because well personally, I think if you're following the fashion trends and you can't come up with your own outfit for yourself, I don't know about you, but that comes on to me as somebody who has a weak mind.
One time back in middle school, I was wearing these kewt leggings with a skirt, and the leggings were kind of a bit loose, right? So the principal comes and tells me that they're "inappropriate and not allowed at school. So don't wear them again." And there were all these girls slutting around in these leggings 5 sizes too small with their' knee fat coming out the bottom. And these are skinny girls I'm talking about. D: And it's REALLY frustrating how these things work.
Because really, all this is is politics and favorites. :/ I'm sorry to say so, but it is politics.
I wear shorts during the SUMMER time, and they aren't really short. They're what would be called today, "extra long". Normal in a non-zombie/slut's mind. : D And when I do wear skirts in the winter, I ALWAYS wear leggings underneath. Like just recently. And shirts, I like fitted-ish. But I also like loose. But not fitted to the point where everything's squeezed out either the top or the bottom. D: And I also love to wear my one pair of skinny leg jeans. <33333 They're so comfy and cute. :3
Girls at my school will wear long sleeved tight shirts, a way-too short, tight, skirt, and then HUGE muck-a-lucks. Can you say WHORE? : D

I'm overweight, but I avoid Short, tight, revealing clothes... I think everyone should avoid those clothes I mean, there are some exceptionally nice Modest clothes out there That can compliment a girl's body W/o exposing her a** cheeks or nipples, yanno? D:<

Black or gray skinny leg jeans and T-shirt. In cold and hot.
On some occasions I do wear what you're supposed to wear according to the weather. Like short shorts if it's 41 degrees. I'm not really a person who wears revealing clothes, so the shorts look like shorts when I put them on. Want me to measure them? They're 26.5cm when you measure it vertically.
I never really wear tight shirts. The only tops I wear are T-shirts, sometimes with a jumper or cardigan.
And also. We wear uniforms at school. And no jewellry is allowed and we can't have our hair out. So everyone looks the same. (Strict much?)

Maybe that's a good thing, though. No one is being ridiculed/ignored for what they're wearing.

I hate revealing clothing that shows more than like.. half your leg :/ I guess I'm old-fashioned.. I only like things that show off my DDD cleavage, 'cuz I usually get free stuff out of it xD! It also boosts my confidence :]
I don't like skirts, or wear anything else revealing @_@;

They don't allow that sorta clothes at my school, if you do wear something like that then you have to change or get something from the lost and found to wear or go home...
I normally wear flare jeans in a dark wash, shirts that are longer and have a sorta low neck, a tank-top under the shirts with low necks, comfertable shoes, a necklace (Sometimes a choker, sometimes a longer one), earrings in the shape of butterflies, and then for my hair I pull it back so that I have no part and it's pulled back in a tight pony with a headband and clips in it to keep my baby hairs in place and then that's pretty much what I'll wear every day.
I used to wear skirts a lot at the beginning of school and the year before I would wear black pants with various shirts, then the year before to probably kindergarten I would wear dresses EVERY DAY!! Now that i look back at that then I think that that might be a cause of why I'm not very popular... Now, I'm a little popular but my previous years in school have been a big disadvantage to trying to become an in the middle popular. I have lots of friends this year though... I'm kinda ramboling now...

>>; You shouldn't try to become popular. It all goes down the drain in college. Everyone is an equal there, and anyone who thinks they're better than anyone else is shallow and probably has insecurity issues x-x;
You should just be yourself, and try to not become someone you're not just for a few more friends that probably would never become your true friend ^^;
