User ImageThe Sun Alter Merdracs, while large creatures often reaching the size of earth's Orca's, are often found sunbathing like seals on smooth rocky outcroppings scattered around. The largest of these pillars of earth, The Sun Alter, features a statue standing at about fifteen feet tall, crafted out of coral to look like a Merdrac reaching for the sun, their frill mimicing the rays of the sun, its colors vibrant as if the coral was still alive.

This island is often used as a meeting place for those wishing to have a guide into the Merdrac cove, since with a Merdrac the other sandpainters can breath underwater like their magicly enabled aquatic breathren. This is also a common place to sunbathe and acts as a market for those wishing to trade the bounty of the sea for the riches of the land.
