Salem's Lot, Stephen King
It was the second (I think it said) book he wrote, and also the second book by him I read.
I guess that made it special, lol, but it was a MILLION times better than any of his others... in my opinion.
I'm currently reading 'Hearts in Atlantas'...
but these books don't really count as dark literature.
Salem's Lot was about Vampires and all, so, I thought it MIGHT pass. ^^

lol, I've actually seen the movie about ten times. XP
I saw the book in Shoppers Drugmart, but it was 11.99 and I only had 10.00 on me. stare
While my cousin was busy looking at make-up, I read the first four chapters ^^
(Then she made fun of me after.. for reading.. while I could be looking at makeup..)

(I was going to.. but.. but.. the next time I checked it was gone.. *sniffle*)

The 60's, men in yellow coats from other worlds...
The war, somewhat.
The story changes a couple of times, so it's kind of hard to say what it's about...
it's almost like the first half is a flashback.
But.. I'm saying too much.
You'll have to find out for yourself ;D
