I think that it is about time that they release an Extended version of Harry Potter that includes all of the deleted scenes. I think it would add so much to the magic of the movie if it was more like the book. What do you guys think?

Do you mean deleted as in actual filmed scenes that got cut? Or are you talking about plot deletions?
Some of the deleted scenes were deleted for a reason.

and some of the ones not written into the script at all would be a bit awkward to film and add now, what with significantly older and/or deader cast members.

phil has a good point but if it was possible,it would be nice not that they're going to though they're probably too concerned about having to spend more money on it they don't care about the fans really it's just the money they'd have to spend on making them if you think how much the normal films cost, imagine how much the extended versions would

Though I do agree with Phil, I still would like to see them shoot at least a few of the MAJOR plotlines that they cut out. Either that or at least give in and make the next two movies longer than 2 and a half hours. I mean, LOTR got hours of extra footage on their DVDs, why can't we?

The best we can really hope for is that somewhere down the lines films will be made that will have more accurate information in them. *shrugs* I mean, it's happened with other movies, so it's possible that it'll happen again - especially if the books stay popular, even marginally.
