They got to the movie theatre quickly, it really was just a few blocks away. "What kind of movies do you like?"

The Brit shrugged a bit as he looked up at the listings. He did not recognize any of the titles. "Anything with a plot," he suggested.

"There goes all the slasher films," he said with a smile. That was good, he couldn't stand horror movies. They really got to him. "How about this one?" he asked, pointing to a random movie.

It was a title that Karl did not recognize. "Alright," he agreed anyway, and pulled Aaron up to the ticket window. He purchased two tickets for the film, which was due to start in only about fifteen minutes. Perhaps that was why Aaron had pointed to it.

Aaron was surprised the movie he had pointed at started so soon. "Do we want to get popcorn and everything?" It was really up to Karl, since Aaron didn't have any money... and even if he did, he wouldn't have enough to splurge on like this.

"Do you?" Karl asked in return. It wasn't as though he did not have the money to spend, and he did not mind spoiling Aaron a little. It was their first date after all.

"Are you sure?" Karl asked. He didn't go to the movies too often anymore, so he didn't really know what they had besides popcorn and drinks. If Aaron wanted something else he would have to speak up.

"Let's just do the basics, popcorn and soda." It sounded good to him. He walked up to the concession stand, his hand still intertwined with Karl's.
