Well, I just finished reading the mangas, but I'm disappointed in lights death.
He killed masses of people, and is the all-mighty powerful kira, but dies of a heart attack?

What do you think?

I know Ryuk made the promise, but personally, it could've been a more dignified death

Well Ryuk did explain that the person that was going to kill light was him. So i thought it was ok. i thought it was funny that the "all mighty" kira freaked out cause he got shot

But in the end (in the manga anyway), they showed that bigass cult.. so all of hard work might not have gone to waste. 0:

I found it quite ironic that he died like that, actually. A heart attack was Kira's signature move, so it's like he got a taste of his own medicine in the end. wink

Hmm...y'don't suppose Ryuk wrote something along those lines in the notebook? It seemed very uncharacteristic of Light to go "Bleah!!" like he did. sad

"Yagami Light - heart attack. Freaks out and screams at people like a maniac after getting shot..."etc.

in the anime he ends up have a heart attack but in a cooler way which made it seem a little more dignified...it was sadder though crying
