This is the chamber were the Senate resides.
Christophe was quite nervous about what he was about to say to the Senate. However, he marched right in without regard to the massive beings guarding the large doors. "I have urgent news!" he said.
An old man near the front, Chairman Reoni, looked surprised at this outburst. "The Chair does NOT recognize this Student."
"I will speak nonetheless!" shouted Christophe as two guards prepared to drag him out. "Captain Pan is dead!"
There were many gasp around the room. They thought that Kaki would be there next president. There was never been a time where so many leaders had died. There was no law to say who be President next.
"Let him speak," said Reoni, with a depressed tone.
"The Captain gave me his rank and told me to come here, then he died. I have no idea further from that on what i am to do," said Christophe sadly.
"He must become president!" shouted several persons in the chamber, "It is LAW!" This caused quite a riot. Christophe was hardly qualified to become president.

Christophe was politely escorted out of the chamber and to a bedroom that he may rest in while the Senators debated. In the morning, Christophe was awoken by a butler that opened his curtains to allow sunlight to rain on his face.
"What time is it sir?" asked Christophe.
"Please, my name is Jonsin," he said, "It is the second hour of daylight. You are being requested in the Chamber. So you must get dressed. Oh, I mustn't forget this. It is a letter from Barton Town." Jonsin pulled it out and handed it to his new master.
After Christophe was dressed in rather ritzy clothing, he was brought back to the chamber. Chairman Reoni then spoke, "This is the decision of the Court and the Law. You are now, President Christophe IV. You are to now be sworn in."
"What!?" said Christophe nervously, "I cannot be the president."
"You have no choice, other than be imprisoned for treason," said a man with a rather large book.
Christophe then remembered the letter he had received from Kaki. "I shall do it then."

"It is final then," said the chairman, "Let us swear you in!" A young boy not much younger then Christophe stepped up with and extravagant robe folded in his hands and a large awkward hat. "Put these on," said the chairman, "Then raise your right hand and repeat what I speak."
Christophe did so, and before he could change his mind, he was the new president.
"Well, president," shouted a voice, "What will you be doing about the borders?! The perpetrators could be seeking out right as we speak."
"Secure the banks of the Island, the northern shores, and all the borders, even those that do not border the Empire. I also prefer constant watch on all my subordinates and myself. Make it happen!"
With that several militants rushed out of the room in an orderly form. No doubt to carry out the orders. Many cheers come from this, for it was what most of the nation wanted. That is why Kaki asked him to do it. It was one more step to Christophe's popularity. "Is there anything else?" asked the president.
