I was going to vote for Thompson, now I like Hunter best but he has zero chance of winning, so Romney it is.
Romney admitted openly that he ran for governor with a pro-choice stance, but he also said that he changed his position while in office and no one has disputed that he has a pro-life voting record. I'm willing to attribute that to a genuine change in position, rather than a flip-flop of the Kerry variety. Frankly, I think liberals are just looking for a chance to use that term against a Republican at this point. As revenge, or something.
Edit:
Huckabee
“One of the great challenges facing us is that we do not commit the same mistakes with our growing Hispanic population that we did with African Americans 150 years ago and beyond. We’re still paying the price for the pathetic manner in which this country handled that… I think, frankly, the Lord is giving us a second chance to do better than we did before.”
– Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee at a meeting of
the Political Animals Club in Little Rock, Arkansas, December, 2006
SourceThat's why I don't like Huckabee.
Also check out ontheissues.org. It's one of the more useful political sites that I've heard about. It has an overview of all the candidates and their positions on a variety of issues.
