Shizuku read the note, two times. She gripped the note. "If I cry...Reijin can't ever be mine? He never...was mine...he just wants himself!" She screamed loudly.
She wiped the teas from her eyes, and she looked at the bag. "I have no one. Maybe...I should just give up. Heh, I really should." She heard the odd creaks of the abandoned house.
She sank down to the floor, and tried to find happiness, but couldn't get anything out of her pain. Hugging her legs, she was quiet, as small flashbacks went through her mind.
"I...still...I still love you Reijin..." She whispered. "When we met...you acted so tough, so rough...but I saw, the good in you, the warm, gentle side. I was never open to you much, sure, because I didn't want to admit to my horrid deeds because I didn't want you to leave me...alone..." She sniffled, trying not to cry.

The note fell at Reijin's door, delivered by Ikko.It was open, and faced towards the door. Ikko had tapped on the door quietly, then disappeared.
'Dear Reijin,
I'm sorry for the lies, and so much burdens I have brought upon you. You are too good of a person, to be with me. You and me...we are such good friends, for once in my life, I felt like, I met a great person. I should have been more open. I wanted to learn, so much more, and for us to get to know each other. I was to blind and ignorant of burying my own past, that it lead to all this. I'm sorry again, for have ever met you, and destiny bringing us together. You've got a good heart, and you were so kind to me. I thank you for having known me, and that, our time together, was something new for me. I never felt a warmer feeling from anyone. But it is now cold.
Reijin, you were the greatest thing to me. I hope you can forgive me, for my actions. I promise, if I get a second chance, then I will surely be more open. I wish I could turn back time, and fix all this. I know, it's all my fault. This...this is all my fault. I'm so sorry. Be safe, and keep yourself out of trouble. If...you can forgive me, meet me tomorrow at the Ramen shop, for some lunch. ^_^ But if not, you can, do as you please, and, I'll only speak to you in school. There is a place in my heart for you, and it will always be there, no matter how or what you think of me as.
I hope you can forgive me, for being a complete shut door to you. You're a good person, and never forget that. What's happened, has happened. I want things to get better between us...

Reijin opened the door, expecting to see Shizuku, and had a scowl on his face. Instead, there was a note planted on the porch. He picked it up slowly, sighing before beginning to read it.
Of course... what has it been, a couple days?
He gripped the paper fiercely, then dropped it on the floor inside his house, shutting the door behind him. Walking over to his bedroom, he began opening the door.
Even if she would fix all these mistakes now... it's too late now. And it's too early for me to even try to forgive her. Even if I could... it won't be anytime soon. I'm sorry.
He shut the door behind him, and the lights went out.

Shizuku fell asleep, tired, and exhuasted from staying up all night.
Waking up in the hours of the early morning, she looked around. "My note..probably means nothing to him...I'm dreaming to big..." She thought quietly to herself, and got up off of the wooden floor.
Each step she took, felt heavy, and the wooden floor creaked. It was old, and had cracks in it. She went to the window, and looked out of it, the morning sun hitting her face. "I guess..going into the village...and just seeing...would work. Though...I have my doubts now...he probably doesn't want anything to do with me. Wouldn't hurt to try anything." She talked to herself as left the window, and sat back down. Opening the bag, she pulled out some of the food Ikko had given her. Eating some, she tried to enjoy it, she wasn't used to eating by herself.
"Let's go and see...if Reijin will show." She put all the things in the bag, and looked at herself. Her clothes were covered in dust, and starting to become stinky, and tattered.
"Great..." She muttered sarcastically. "Just...great." She opened the door of the house, the long creak returning to her ears.
