Raven_Zombie i dont know if this should be here... i will wait to see what other Mods think I don't see a problem with it. It's very similar to wrestling and, as was said -- Uther respects it because of real-life wrestling. So... I say: Carry on!

My father and I used to watch old UFC Videos when i was littler I remember David "Tank" Abbot, and Ken Shamrock mostly. The last I watch I saw this dude with the nickname Iceman knock out some guy Shamrock had been training in the first round.

I rarely watch it, b/c i'm usually busy whenever stuff like that is on... I put some of the old one's on netflix though...

Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock hate eachother.
Last match I saw with Ortiz he got knocked out by "The Iceman" Chuck Liddell in the third round.

Okay, i like UFC, and have a great deal of respect for the notable fighters like Liddell and Ortiz. I am very disappointed with the Spike show running now...Ultimate Fighter 2 i think. The first season was good, and i hope the winner goes far in the UFC circuits. Last night though...i have to tell you, i was plain embarrassed for the two guys fighting. I can't remember their exact names, but they couldn't fight for s**t. The white guy (Tom i think) didn't do anything the entire fight. I understand he had an injured leg, but that's no excuse for not even trying to attempt a ground game. Didn't even try any serious take-down attempts, except for maybe 1. The black guy (i honestly don't remember his name) was a joke, even though he won. He kept bouncing his head around trying to sucker his opponent into an attack when he far superior mobility. Hardly threw any serious attacks. He looked like he was more concerned with looking better than actually fighting better.
This isn't the first time this season either i've seen stuff like this. One of the lighter-weight fighters obviously has no chance at winning when compared to his competition. I don't mean slight chance...i mean no chance whatsoever unless he has a gun and his opponent is tied up. I'm wondering if some of the "fighters" are really nothing more than people planted by the show to spice up the "reality show" side of it. A couple of pointless arguments in the house bolster my opinion of that being the case.

I could probably list five champs from UFC and I have yet to watch it. I have a friend who loves it though and it's on his goal list to make it to the UFC. I have seen one fight or two though, but it was a long time ago.

Chuck Lidell is the s**t. I like UFC and i watch it when i see that its on but theres no regular schedule 4 it were i live. kinda sux cuz i might not kno that its on and ill miss it.
