Well seeing as this is a guild named 'Flight', I thought this would be appropriate. Today I saw an interesting documentary on flying. Not just flying, levitating type thing, being able to spontaniously hover. Well they showed some cool Indian hoaxes rofl and some weird meditation people who can jump really high and far, it looks so weird! Some scientists say that the idea that people can jump then hover is explainable by quantum physics.. woa listen to me. emo
Anyways, they also showed a machine that was super magnetic and could even make a strawberry fly! Indeed, they actually showed it! Along with a frog and a spider and many other things (don't worry, the frog looked ok; at most dizzy whee ) And in Japan they are developing (they showed the real thing) a train that uses some kinda magnet thing to fly. Not super high but above the track so that it goes faster. In the future, NASA wants to use this kind of technology to launch rockets. It's much safer, faster, and re-usable! (er)
Thought that was cool. Maybe some of you saw it too. It said 1999 at the end! We must be sooo advanced by now! THX

I didn't see that, but I did see the documentary on NASA wanting to build that "space elevator"
That's what they called it in the show. That's really interesting, though. Have you seen the thing where people jump into giant caverns and the air pressure keeps them from hitting the bottom outright. They fall, then slow down and float to the bottom. I thought that was really awesome.
