1/15/08 Roleplay With Pirago
(pg. 114-115)

Pirago

The mustang banthi was trotting along on his way to the caverns through the forest. He had been out playing claw the trees. Many trees now bore his mark on the outter ring of the forest near the feral clan's territory. He didn't mean it as any sort of challenge or anything at all actually. Pirago's tail swung back and forth as he sat down outside the cavern's opening and stared at it. Last time he actually lived here, Pira was debating on leaving the clan. So much time had passed between then and now. The spotted mustang banthi lost himself in thought as he wondered what would happen now.

Lykaios

Lyka slowly stretched, her claws softly scrapping along the stone floor. It was no surprise that Spud wasn't around so she slowly made her way towards the entrance to see if anyone else had returned. As she trotted down the hall a familiar scent wafted to her nose. Pausing for a moment she recognised Pira's scent. 'What fun she thought' as she now slinked through the entrance til she could see Pira clearly, she purposefully made a noise so he'd be prepared for her rolling tackle. HEY!

Pirago

The noise alone startled him enough to look like a deer in headlights. And the rolling tackle just caused Pirago to now be on the ground. He smirked. "Hey you!" He tried slipping from her to get up and shake out his fur. "Sleeping in the caverns again huh? How have you been?" His tail wagged a little behind him. The mustang remembered Lyka. She was the one who was with Spud and he almost considered her like a sister-in-law.

Lykaios

Lyka snickered as she rolled over as he slipped out to shack his fur. She scratched her back for a moment before righting herself. Yeah, we had been swinging by every now and agian when one day we noticed that everyone was returning, so we decided it would be best to return. How are you? And when did you return? She was rambling and she knew it, but she had longed to be back in the caverns with her family and friends.

Pirago

And once Lyka was on her paws again, Pira pounced her to chew on one of her horns. He grinned. "Mom and I came back a while ago. She's around somewhere, hunting I think. I've been playing in the meadow personally. I'm alright just bored as usual." CHEW! His tail was wagging happily. Ah, a truly happy Pira was a Pirago with a chewy. And what better chew toy then his sister-in-law's horn?

Lykaios

A squeal escaped from her as Pira pounced her to chew on one of her horns. Well that's nice. It's good to know that more are returning. It was starting to get lonely out there. I mean Spud was around but. She paused not sure of the words for what she had felt.

Pirago

That caused Pira to stop and look down at her, icy blue eyes casting their stare onto Lyka with a serious expression. "But?" His voice had changed from amused and playful to serious and concerned. Oh if Spud had pulled the same stunt as his father, Pirago was going to go on a hunt for the penguin banthi and drag him back by the scruff. It was a deep embedded scar on the banthi's heart that would always leave him with mistrust in other banthi to not leave.

Lykaios

Lyka wa now staring off into the distance as she tried to find the right words. But.. after a long while you tend to want to interact with others. And we also went our separate ways from time to time, trying to find others. Lyka gave herself a good mental shake. But none of that matters now that everyone's returning. This time it was her turn to pounce him and get those depressing thoughts out of her head.

Pirago

Pira allowed himself to be pounced as he sighed with relief. "So it was a mutual thing. Good." The male then pawed playfully at her cheek. "There are lots coming back. I saw Jiang. My mom saw Cristata and Aunt Demetra. Have you seen any others besides me? Hows the hunting been around here?" Distractions! However, these were true questions. He wanted to know who else might be roaming, and if the herds of animals they had hunted before were still around. If not, that would make eating a lot more challenging.

Lykaios

Lyka didn't remember meeting Jiang before but she was glad that he had run into others coming back. Actually you're the first banthi I've 'seen', I've just caught scents floating around again. And as far as the hunting, I think it's pretty descent, of course ever since Spud taught me how to fish, I mostly eat those. As far as banthi go she's been pretty antisocial, not on purpose of course, but the only banthi she remembers meeting are all related in some way to Spud. So what did you do while away? She really didn't have any other word for what had happened to the clan.

Pirago

Pira broke free from Lyka and struck a pose. "I've been on guard duty!" As if that was the most important job. He then sat down. "Mom and I really just hung out around the human caretaker's house. Though I didn't really like that." His stomach rumbled. "Speaking of fish, wanna go get some with me? I didn't eat yet today and mom's taking forever to get back."

Lykaios

Lyka snicker as he struck his pose. Guarding is always a good. I saw my caretaker from time to time but she doesn't hang around too much. Lyka's tummy responded before she could in regards to going fishing. She giggled as she started to speak. It seems that it is time to eat, so I'll be more then happy to go grab some breakfast with you. She stood and approached him, with a playful twinkle in her eye. She gently tapped him on the shoulder. Tag, you're it! And with that she dashed towards the pond.

Pirago

Pirago looked at her strangely whens she approached him so but after tagging, he blinked and then laughed. "Hey!" He then took off full speed after the female banthi. "No fair! But no matter! I SHALL get you back!" He chuckled as he ran after Lyka. However, he was slower then usual because he was VERY hungry. He also was reacquainting himself with the landscape on the way to the pond. Honestly, after all this time, he had forgotten the way. Lyka would never be allowed to know that she was actually showing him the way. He was far too proud to admit it.

Lykaios

Lyka laughed as she heard Pira head after her. Noticing that he hadn't pasted her the whole way she decided to glance back. That was the wrong idea, she had underestimated how close she was to the pond. Upon turning back around she tried oh so hard to stop but she ended up sliding into the pond with a loud and wet splash. She surfaced spurtering and laughing. It seems some things never change!

Pirago

Pirago, after reaching the pond after Lyka took a nose dive in, busted out laughing, flopping to the ground. "Never change is right! HA! Look at ya!" The mustang banthi laughed and smirked standing up, and he struck a coy pose, tail high and mighty. "Now look at me! Nice and dry." He then chuckled. "So much for fishing at the minute." He sat down on the banks, tail wagging. "Probably scared them away with such a loud splash. But, that was a good splash. 7 out of 10!" He grinned, mockingly. Oh the male never changed but his light hearted blue eyes told of his joking nature.

Lykaios

Lyka couldn't stop laughing. When Pira struck his pose and when he rated her splash she tried to splash some water on him but failed both times.. Well the fish will come back in a moment She said as she continued to tread water only now she was staring into the water, waiting. After a few moments she saw a fish swim tentively near her foot, and within moments she had dived down and struck it. sending it upwards towards the surface, she followed closely behind swatting it until it had landed on the ground. Hungry? She inquired as she watched it flop on the ground.

Pirago

Pira's paw came down to keep the fishy in place but he didn't eat it. Instead he smiled to her warmly. "Come on out and eat. I'll get a fish for myself. You need to dry off or else you'll catch cold and I'll here from my mother how I'm not watching after my family good enough." The mustang banthi's tail was now swaying behind him. Not to mention, he also needed to train himself back into living outside on his own, without a Leena mothering him with Ray.

Lykaios

Lyka smiled warmly at him. Alrighty then. With that she climbed out and bit into the fish to kill it. She then gently and slowly ate it while Pira went to get his own fish.

Pirago

Pirago pranced off into the waters and sighed to relax himself. It wasn't long before the fish began to swim around his legs, making male smirk. Oh he was not one to be trusted by any prey. However, his first attempt merely smacked the fishy's tail. Another few minutes of waiting and gaining their trust. Finally, the second attempt he got the fish up in the air but he almost missed smacking it onto the shoreline. This meant MANY volleys, smack smack smack, pawing at the fish to keep it up as he manuvered it to the banks and finally, one good hit and it was on the ground, leaving the mustang to pant. "Forgot.. *pantpantpant* how slippery they were!"
