It's good to see you and I look forward to seeing you post. My name is Jay, and I am your active guild Moderator. This guild started as a Christian hangout, discussion, and roleplay guild where we can all have fun, but before you get started in The Underground, there are some rules you should know about that I hope will improve your stay here.

  • This is a Christian Guild For the non-members posting in here, we ask that you mearly show us respect. You are entitled to your own beliefs, and we are to ours. Christians, you are to respect others at all times! I cannot make that clear enough; you are to not condemn people. Read John 8 before you do that.

  • Be respectful of your fellow members. I cannot stress this one enough. In order to have a pleasant and enjoyable experience, everyone needs to feel that they have the utmost respect from their guildmates. Follow the Golden Rule people.

  • Use appropriate language. I don't appreciate profanity, especially if it's unnecessary. One or two slips is fine; but if it becomes habit you will be spoken to. It doesn't need to be part of every day chit-chat in here.

  • Please use some language skills We're not the grammar police. We won't hunt you down for simple spelling mistakes, but please try to at least be coherent. If nobody understands what you're saying, you may as well have never said it. L33t is from the devil and the devil isn't allowed in here. Popular chatspeak (lol, omg, brb, g2g, etc.) is allowed, so long as we know what you mean. Just don't hurt our eyes with AlTeRnAtInG CaPs or txting lyk crzy all teh tyme. It doesn't make you any cooler, and it just annoys us.

  • Please do not advertise in the guild. By that, I mean I don't want to see 12 advert threads for other people's guilds. That annoys me to the max and I find it borderline disrespectful. If you really want to get the word out about a website, guild, minishop, etc., then please PM me about it first. If you ask nicely, I'll let it in.

  • Please do not spam the guild. Which means try not to go off topic, it annoys me. Now, if the thread dies; its yours to do with what you will. But we do have a chat thread. And if you don't want to use it and you just want to talk about somehting that happened feel free to make a brand new thread.

I'm also in the process of trying to get some contests, lotteries, games, etc. together. If you have an idea or wish to contribute to the prize bin, please PM me. I could always use some help. I am going to set up a mule for the guild for the contests. And there will be an announcement in the game wing when we are about to start.

Regarding roleplays: I've decided on a rating system for roleplays that will define the posts within them. The rating system is below:

FREE: Free-for-all. Post any way you want to in these roleplays. There are no rules regarding literacy, spelling, grammar, size, etc. These may sometimes be "jump in, all are welcome" roleplays, but not necessarily all of them. Be sure to read all the beginning posts by the author to ascertain whether or not anybody can post at will or not.

SL: Semi-literate. Usually posts like "*walks in* hi everbody! wut's up?" aren't allowed. Post in a way that it's easily discernable what you're doing. Posts can be short, so long as they are neat.

LIT: Literate. Enter if you dare, lol. Posts are usually set at a one-paragraph minimum. Posts should not contain spelling or grammatical errors (or as few as possible). The authore may decree that everyone use an identifying color or size for posts. Spelling and grammar police, this is your domain.

Roleplay authors: when you start a roleplay, put the rating next to your title in brackets. For example, if I were to start a roleplay called "Snakes on a Plane" and I wanted it to be a literate roleplay, I'd title the roleplay, "Snakes on a Plane [LIT]". That way, we all know what your expectations are before posting.

I hope that this system will help to make the roleplaying experience more enjoyable for members. If you have any comments or suggestions, please PM me.
