When rping factions you must keep certain things in mind that way people don't get all confused. I want it clear that neither side thinks they are evil or cruel but depending on the side you join you will and should be viewed differently by others. ((Below are the general views of both factions in order to help keep people rping consistantly.))
The Greater shinobi Nation (Imperium)
-Goal is the unite the shinobi world under one banner
-Views the resistance/kiri with disdain because neither will submit to the rule of the Greater nation. Resistance members are painted as ruthless killers and murders who want to bring about more chaos and war.
Shinobi Allience (Resistance)
-Wants to overthrow pein and akatsuki no matter the cost
-They don't want to serve under pein because he is something unatural and evil. The resistance has lost many family and friends to pein for bringing the war that killed Millions of people, by using the forbidden Jutsu that harnessed the power of all nine bijuu.

Advantages To each faction These are storyline perks you get with upon joining a specific faction.
Greater Shinobi Nation
-larger forces/weapons
-Ability to advance in rank through chunnin exams and thournaments
-Not be hunted or killed on sight
-possibility to become a jinchuriki
Shinobi Allience
-Smaller training groups
-can learn many more jutsu elements/more techniques
-better trained shinobi
Disadvantages These are storyline disadvantages, or catches if you will to joining each faction. Keep in mind that these affect your character and how everybody will view you depending on which group you join.
The Greater shinobi Nation
-Cheaper weapons, Conscripted soldiers
-Hated by the resistance
-Higher taxes/harder living
-highly regulated living
Shinobi Allience
-Better weaponry, loyal soldiers
-Killed on sight in imperial Territory
-Forced to be on the run
-Always examined upon entrance into the Hideout
-Bounties placed on your head
-Unable to advance in rank officially through Exams

Surviving members (Cannon Characters)-These are the ones who survived the war between Akatuski and Konoha. If you wish for a character who i don't mention please send me a request on who you want and provide a through bio on how that person survived the war, (captured, escaped ect.) without getting killed. Please note that those names with a Slash through them are taken (ps these are all Post shipuuden versions of chars.)

Jobs/ Positions:In general these are the positions that you may have depending on your rank with in your given faction. Each has a specific job and affects everybody differently.
Medic-nin: help allies recover from battle and heal most injuries
ANBU: Elite jonin who have no files, and must wear masks at all times, they act as personal body gaurds, and even as assassins when needed.
Avisors Leaders or specialist shinobi who preform various tasks and assist thier leaders by advising them durring battle, or help by leading specific parts of each faction. ((Jonin posistion only))
Council Member/Govenor: People who serve theier faction faithfully are given this position. When they have proven themselves either in battle or domestically to help thier leaders.
Officers: Usually teachers or people in the position of leading small groups of men or shinobi into battle (This is only a chuunin Position)
Teacher: These are jonin who devote most of thier time to training future soldiers and ninja. (Jonin position unless in ANBU, or Medical Squad.)
