idea taken from _fanxblade_ post >>Here
Well, is there? someone putting up on there profile that they are questing for an item, or even posting in a thread that they are questing for an item...
Does this count the same way that Begging does?

The difference I see between questers and beggers is that beggars rely 100% on donation from others while questers do not rely on donations to reach their target goals. Questers are working either by posting, poling, gaming (fish/puzzle/trash/etc), or selling art or whatever.
at least, that's been my experience.

Yea, I can see that...but it is also kind of annoying when people spam threads and profiles with page long quotes about their quests. xp

i think questing is when you say you want something
and i think begging is when you keep asking for something even if the person your asking says no

I don't help anyone with questing, but that's just me. I'm worth over 1100K and I never begged OR quested.

I keep my quest to my quest thread, I have a link in my sig, but I don't go around demanding people donate to me. It gets slightly annoying when I leave the quest/charity forum and make a thread in the CB and I have people coming in and asking if I can donate gold to them. I was playing cards the other day and someone came in to the room I was in demanding we give them our tickets. A few minutes after that, someone in the room was asking for 2k. -.-

well surely at some point most people have seen something and decide to save up or get gold by games or whatever so they can get it...

Questers usually don't ask anybody in specific for money or items. They usually just say that they're questing for something, and people are welcome to donate; whereas beggars will outright ask for items and money.

Amberkins Yea, I can see that...but it is also kind of annoying when people spam threads and profiles with page long quotes about their quests. xp But when they've done that, shouldn't that count them as beggars?
