When I was in dorms my neighbor across the hall had started playing it because his boyfriend introduced him and they leveled up a bit together. He introduced it to me because he thought I would like it a lot and let me play on his account, and after that I just bought it for myself. I think I always assumed I would get bored of it one day and sever the account but its been like three years now and I have never once canceled my subscription.
At least I dragged down some buddies with me on the way xp

My sister and her boyfriend set me up to play. she had been playing for a while before I started then she told me to set up an account. I knew I would like it right off the bat. Now, my main is higher level than hers. mrgreen

I saw my friend's dad playing the beta version and I thought it looked awsome.. Then my friend showed me his guy and I was really excited to start.. For the longest time, I only played on his account so my toons never got very high, but I pretty recently bought it and made the stupid decision of rolling a shadowpreist.. (GOD they are boring)

A friend of mine sent me a trial code. That was last February.
Since then I've introduced my brother, who, in the spirit of annoying little brothers everywhere, promptly overtook me.
