lives in the Washington, D.C. area? Or around there? Cause there's a Japanese culture + hyperculture festival going at the Kennedy Center there next month from the 5th to the 17th! My friend and I are only going on the last day though. T.T But I might ask my mom to take me the weekend before, since she's just like me and she finds everything about Japan fascinating (we're Filipino and Chinese, lol.)
So whoever lives around there, are you planning on going or not? Most of the stuff is free, and while the whole festival isn't completely fashion, the 17th is - it's a whole night about Harajuku, and everyone's dressing up. =D

Wow. that sounds cool..wish we could do somwthing like that in the tri-stae area

I miss going to stuff like that so much!
I use to live in a big city where they had stuff like that all the time, especially on a certain street in little japan or little vietnam.
I use to go with one of my Thai friends all the time because she had never seen anything like that in Thailand. Shes the most animated person youll ever meet lolz.
... ANd now I live in the middle of nowhere =[...

Terrible_Beauty_Sublime I miss going to stuff like that so much!
