This is a story of a girl I actually knew. I still know her actually, but as the poem states, she's changed so much it's like she's a diffrent person.
“A girl I once knew”
A Girl I Once Knew A warm heart turned cold. A small girl's story never told.
A smile on her face to let everyone know that she was just fine and never alone.
But a lie built up that never came out a secret she locked up tight without one doubt.
Anger and hate poisoned her mind but she was unaware of this the entire time.
She could never imagine of her future to come. When her soul would be dead and her body numb.
But she lived on her life with a smile on her face until she finally collapsed and left no trace.
I'm not saying she's living or saying that she's dead for it’s hard to tell these days what goes on in her head.
And now I’ve revealed the story of a girl I knew way back. An old friend of mine whose pure heart turned black.
This is the latest poems I've written. I have not posted anything for a long time because I've been working on this one. (Hopefully it's ok after all that work I put into it.)

Wow, that's pretty powerful. It's energetic, (almost bouncy) I think, because of the rhythm it has when you read it, but the underlying message is so much more ominous. It's like a contrast in elements...in a good way....if that makes sense. xd
